The movie “Saint Onisan THE MOVIE ~Holy Men VS Demon Corps~” will be released nationwide on December 20, 2024. It has been decided that voice actors Takashi Nakao, Emi Ogata, and Ryutaro Okiayu will appear as additional cast members. Regarding his appearance, he has also received comments from himself.
“Saint☆Onii-san” is a unique gag manga written by Hikaru Nakamura that has sold over 17 million copies. It is currently being serialized in Kodansha’s “Morning Two”, and up to 21 volumes have been released.
Jesus, the son of God, played by Kenichi Matsuyama, and the enlightened Buddha, played by Shota Sometani, live together in a 6-tatami-room apartment without a bath in Tachikawa, Tokyo, and enjoy a vacation in the lower world. It depicts everyday life. Their style is T-shirts and denim.
The bold and innovative combination of Jesus and Buddha is depicted in a unique and unique style, not to mention the subject matter. It has been called a revolutionary gag manga unique to Japan, and continues to be loved by people regardless of gender, age, or region.
This work, which can be called “Japan’s representative gag manga”, is scheduled to be released on December 20th as the first live-action movie, “Saint Onisan THE MOVIE ~Holy Men VS Demon Corps~”.
The director is Yuichi Fukuda, a comedy genius who has worked on the “Gintama” series, “Kyo Kara Ore wa!! Theatrical Version,” “New Interpretation of Romance of the Three Kingdoms,” and more.
The first epic full-length series in the history of “Saint Onii-san” is an original episode drawn by the original author Hikaru Nakamura to be made into a theatrical movie, which is different from short stories depicting leisurely daily life. ‘ has been completely made into a live-action film.

Futon role/Emi Ogata
My name is Emi Ogata and I was in charge of the voice of Futontsukumogami.
I was given the opportunity to voice the main character Billy in the Japanese dubbed version of the movie “Shazam!”, for which Director Fukuda was the sound director.
I was so happy that I asked for two replies, but it goes without saying that the aspect is quite different from that of foreign paintings. Is it okay for the production of “Please do it”…? I came here with trepidation.
However, what I saw at the preview screening was amazing! It’s familiar!
It wasn’t the natural play of a foreign movie, but a full-on anime play, but it actually blended in and was natural! I was reminded of the true potential of Fukuda Magic and all the actors participating in the Fukuda group… (lol).
This is an amazing piece of work in many ways. Please take a look for the first laugh of the New Year.

I remember that I used to voice my own character in the drama “Aoi Honoo.” I’m honored that the director and staff remember me. I also wanted to take a photo with you (lol)
