The synopsis and preliminary scene cut of the second episode “Kejime”, which will be broadcast on Monday, January 13, 2025, of the winter anime “There is someone I love at this company” have been released.

“There is someone I love at this company” is a manga by Akamaru Enomoto that is serialized in Kodansha’s “Morning” and has a total circulation of over 1.1 million copies, including electronic copies, depicting a thrilling office romance.
Masanao Tateishi, a serious young man who works in the accounting department, and Yui Mitsutani, a strong-willed girl who works in the planning department, both joined a candy manufacturer at the same time. Although they are perceived by those around them as having a “dog-and-monkey” relationship, they are actually attracted to each other.

He remains unfazed by unexpected encounters in the office and close encounters in crowded elevators, and is popular for the thrilling situations that can occur in working adults who have to keep their affections hidden. A thrilling office love story for adults, where a secretive love sparks excitement between two people, will be made into an anime.

Episode 2 “Kejime” synopsis

At Hayakawa’s invitation, Tateishi and Morizono decide to go out for drinks after work.
Meanwhile, Mitsutani is also participating in the launch of a new product competition, and they happen to run into each other at the same pub.

It’s a joint drinking party between departments, and Tateishi and Mitsutani are impatient but decide to get through it. However, Mitsutani cannot bear the delicate sense of distance between them, and ends up drinking too much and passes out.

Tateishi takes care of Mitsutani while avoiding public attention, but his junior, Somei, happens to be passing by and sees him!?

Later, Tateishi contacts Somei and asks her to keep their relationship a secret…

The second episode of “There is someone I like in this company”, “Kejime”, will start broadcasting on TOKYO MX and other channels from January 13, 2025 (Monday).
