From the winter anime “SAKAMOTO DAYS”, the synopsis and preview scene cuts of the first episode “The Legendary Killer”, which will be broadcast on Saturday, January 11, 2025, have been released.
“SAKAMOTO DAYS” is based on the manga by Yuto Suzuki, which has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (published by Shueisha) since 2020. The cumulative circulation of comics exceeds 7 million copies.
A solid action story about a hitman, Taro Sakamoto, a former legendary hitman, fights with his friends against approaching assassins in order to maintain a peaceful life with his beloved family.
Episode 1 “Legendary Killer” Synopsis
There was the strongest assassin, his name was Taro Sakamoto.
Sakamoto was a skilled assassin who was feared by all villains, but one day he fell in love with Aoi, a woman working at a convenience store, and quickly retired from his job as an assassin. After getting married and having a daughter, Sakamoto, who runs a private shop in a peaceful town, has gained so much weight that there is no trace of his former self…
Just then, his old junior colleague Shin appears and asks him to return to being an assassin, but…
In order to protect his beloved family, former assassin Sakamoto’s legendary battle finally begins.
The first episode of “SAKAMOTO DAYS”, “The Legendary Killer”, will begin broadcasting on TV Tokyo and other channels from 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 11th.
