The first special collaboration between “Uta no Prince-sama♪” and “Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle-” has been decided to produce a “Hypnosis Mic Support Trailer” by QUARTET NIGHT and a “Uta☆Pre-support Trailer” by Division Leaders. In addition, as a special card for visitors to the movie “Hypnotic Mic”, which allows you to watch the video will be distributed from March 22, 2025.
Hypnosis Mic, also known as “Hypnosis Mic”, is a music-based character rap project launched in September 2017. A total of 18 unique main characters are divided into six teams, and they engage in a passionate rap battle.
The rap music that will add color to the battle is a creator of rap music, led by the Japanese hip-hop scene. By rapping various songs by voice actors, the story of each character develops around the music.
The film “Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle” is currently being screened as the “first” audience-participating “interactive film” in Japan. The outcome of the rap battle that unfolds on screen is determined by the votes of the audience in the cinema.
And “Uta no Prince-sama♪,” also known as “Uta no Prince-sama♪,” was based on popular game software, and the TV anime “Uta no Prince-sama♪ Seriously LOVE” was broadcast from the fourth season from 2011 to 2016.
To commemorate the first collaboration between these popular people, the film “Hypnotic Mic” is currently on sale, and the release of the film “Uta no Prince-sama the Movie♪ TABOO NIGHT XXXX” which will be delivered in a live animation and completely original form on May 9th, a “support trailer” has been decided to be produced in which both parties support each other.
The “HypMic Support Trailer” by QUARTET NIGHT of Uta☆Puri, a filmmaker, can be viewed by scanning the QR code from the special cards distributed as a special offer for visitors. It comes with the fifth installment starting March 22nd and the sixth bonus “Coma Film” starting March 29th.
Details about the “Uta☆Pre-Super Support Trailer” by the six Division Leaders of Hypnotics will be announced at a later date.
Both titles will also be appearing at the King Records booth at AnimeJapan 2025, one of the world’s largest anime events, to be held at Tokyo Big Sight for two days on March 22nd and 23rd. A collaboration stage will also be held in which the cast of both films will appear.
Future news about the collaboration will be announced on both works’ official websites from time to time. We’re still looking forward to the development of “Uta no Prince-sama♪ & Hypnosis Microphone -Division Rap Battle- Special Collaboration.”
