“Togen Anki” will start broadcasting in July 2025! PV released where you can hear the voices of additional cast members such as Manaka Iwami, Shogo Sakata, Natsuki Hanae, etc.

It has been announced that the TV anime “Togen Anki” will be broadcast on Nippon Television from July 2025. Along with this, a new key visual and PV have been released. Additional cast and staff information including Mainaka Iwami, Shogo Sakata, Natsuki Hanae, Kai Miura, and Manami were also announced.
The original work of “Togen Anki” is a new generation dark hero demon story written by Yuki Urushibara that has been serialized in “Weekly Shonen Champion” since 2020, depicting the world of “Momotaro” from the perspective of the demon side. Based on the folk tale “Momotaro,” which all Japanese people know, the film depicts the conflict between those who descend from demon blood and those who descend from Momotaro. The cumulative circulation of comics exceeds 3 million copies.
Since June 2023, we have been developing the “Togen Anki” Project, and the first stage of the project, “Stage “Togen Anki”, was well-received due to the passionate performance by Abe Kenran and other gorgeous cast members. From January 4, 2025, a performance of “Stage “Togen Anki” – Nerima Edition -” will be held at the Tennozu Galaxy Theater. The anime adaptation was announced in May 2024 as the second part of the project, and has attracted a lot of attention.
The first key visual released this time depicts the three characters Shiki Ichinose, Jin Empresszaki, and Muto Mudano activating their demon ability “Blood Eclipse Release”. The contrast between the red of the demon’s blood and the blue-green night sky with the full moon in it is a photo full of the feeling of a dark hero.
Furthermore, the cast who will play the five classmates of the main character from the demon school “Rasetsu Gakuen” has also been revealed. Mainaka Iwami will play the role of Haki Byobugaura, Shogo Sakata will play the role of Ikari Yagi, Natsuki Hanae will play the role of Juji Yuzuribe, Kai Miura will play the role of Rokuro, and Manami will play the role of Ren Suikei.
In the PV, the focus is on the newly revealed members of Rakshasa Academy, and you can also hear the voices of each character, so be sure to check it out. In addition, some staff information was also announced, and it was revealed that Studio Hibari will be producing the animation under director Ato Nonaka.
