The third collaboration with “Angel Beats!” will be held at 11:00 on December 27, 2024 at the dramatic RPG “Heaven Burns Red” presented by Light Flyer Studio and Key. Collaboration stories and collaboration gachas centered around Shiori Sekine will be developed, and “Girls Dead Monster (abbreviation: Garudemo)” will finally “graduate”.
“Heaven Burns Red”, also known as “Hebban”, is a dramatic RPG presented by Key in partnership with Light Flyer Studio, which began service on February 10, 2022 as Key Jun Maeda’s first completely new game in 15 years.
The Earth is in danger of being attacked by a mysterious life form called “Cancer”, and the “Seraph Squad”, consisting of girls with some kind of talent who can equip the decisive battle weapon “Seraph” against cancer, throws themselves into battle. The daily life that unfolds in between is depicted.
“Angel Beats!”, which is the third collaboration with “Hebban”, is one of Key’s masterpieces, whose original TV animation was broadcast in 2010. Jun Maeda wrote the original story, screenplay, and wrote the lyrics and music for this work, which continues to enjoy great popularity.
The girl band “Girls Dead Monster” that appears in the work also gained popularity, and the work created a huge movement, with events and live tours being held outside of the anime.
Previous collaborations have depicted the “graduation” of Garudemo members Irie and Hisako. In this third installment, a collaboration story centered around Garudemo’s bassist Shiori Sekine will be developed. When combined with the story in the anime, the “graduation” of all Garudemo will finally be depicted.
In the story, Unit 31A wakes up in the cafeteria and reunites with Yuri and Kanade from Angel Beats! at the school. The group learns that Sekine’s regrets they met there are related to her band activities, and decide to write a new song with her.
In addition, until 21:59 on February 2, 2025, at the event exchange, you can purchase “Limited Style S” with “Exchange Medals”.[ぬくもりの記憶] Can be exchanged with “Sekine Bookmark”. “Exchange Medals” can be obtained by clearing event stories and event prism battles.

As information outside of the game, it has also been revealed that “Angel Beats!” songs will be available for subscription sequentially from midnight on December 23rd. It will be available on numerous platforms including Apple Music, Amazon, and Spotify.
A real event commemorating the collaboration will be held for 3 days from December 28th to December 30th. A pop-up event will be held at Akihabara UDX Sabonius Square, where clear files with original designs will be distributed and five official cosplayers will appear in Gardemo costumes.
There is also a project where you can receive a key chain by posting a photo of the event on X (formerly Twitter). The target dates are different for each, so please check the “Hebban” official X for details.
This work will also be exhibited at Comic Market 105, which will be held at Tokyo Big Sight from December 29th to December 30th, 2024. A limited number of “Hebban” x “Angel Beats!” collaboration goods will also be sold at the Visual Arts booth.
From December 26th, pre-order sales will begin at the Wright Flyer store. It will be available at some Animate stores, including Hebban Shop, from around early January 2025.
Goods using in-game illustrations will also be available from late January 2025, and details will be announced at a later date.
