“About the Detectives That Are Really Recent” will be aired in July 2013! Okazaki Taiiku’s opening theme song “Yay! I’m going to do the theme song!”

The TV anime “Absolutely Recent Detective Tara” has been decided to air in July 2025. The key visuals, main PV, additional cast members, and more have been released, and it has also been revealed that Okazaki Taiiku will be in charge of the opening theme song.

“About Detectives That Really Recent” is based on a manga by Igarashi Masakuni, currently being serialized in Dengeki Maoh. The main character of this work was once known as a detective, but now he is completely left behind by the times. This is a detective comedy in which Mashiro, a high school girl who admires detectives, comes to him and ends up as a buddy as an assistant.

The broadcast date for this film has been decided to be in July 2025. A selection of carefully selected episodes will be aired, focusing on popular episodes from the original.

In addition to Meiun and Mashiro, the key visuals showed the main characters, including Asunaro Yu, a famous high school detective, and his assistant, Hana Fuumaki.
Behind the scenes are also reflected by the figures that look like the mastermind, making it a comedy, yet look like a serious mystery anime.

The main cast members are Suwabe Junichi as Meikon, Hanazawa Kana as Mashiro, Yamaguchi Tomohiro as Hinoki, Hirano Aya as Hana, Horii Chado as Cerberus, and Sugita Tomokazu as the role of Nipple Tasting Uncle and more.

It has been announced that additional cast members will be played by Kasei Kengo as Nezu Taro, Hoshino Azuha will play Ai, Watada Misaki as Kaze-chan, Kase Yasuyuki as Mimasaka Soya, and Iijima Hajime as coach.

The opening theme song has been decided to be “Suffer” by Okazaki Taiiku. In the main PV, you can listen to not only the character voices, but also some of the theme song sound sources.
