“The Quintessential Quintuplets” will be made into a stage play! Hinatazaka46 4th generation members become quintuplets ♪ 11 people will perform in a double/triple cast

Negi Haruba’s manga “The Quintessential Quintuplets” has been adapted into a stage play. The quintuplets will be played by 11 members of the 4th generation of Hinatazaka46, each with double cast and triple cast. The key visual has been released, and it has also been announced that the performance will start from March 8, 2025.
“The Quintessential Quintuplets” is a romantic comedy based on the manga of the same name by Negi Haruma, which was serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine until February 2020. The story is about Fuutarou Uesugi, the main character who boasts the top grades in his school year, who becomes a tutor for the Nakano family’s quintuplets, beautiful girls who hate studying and are on the verge of failing, and guides them to graduation from high school. In May 2019, it won the 43rd Kodansha Manga Award in the boys category, and the cumulative circulation of the series has exceeded 20 million copies. A TV anime has been broadcast since 2019, and movies and games are still being developed, making it a work that is loved by many fans even after the series ends.
This popular manga has now been adapted into a stage play. It was also announced that the cast who will play the heroines, the Nakano family quintuplets, will be 11 members of the fourth generation of Hinatazaka46.
The eldest daughter, Ichika Nakano, is Natami Konishi and Kirari Takeuchi.
The second daughter, Nino Nakano, is Aki Ishizuka and Rio Shimizu.
The third daughter, Miku Nakano, will be played by Sumire Miyaji and Rina Watanabe, respectively.
Furthermore, Yoko Shogenji, Honka Hirao, and Kaho Fujishima are triple cast as the fourth daughter, Yotsuba Nakano.
The fifth daughter Satsuki Nakano is Kaigetsu Hiraoka and Haruka Yamashita.
The script and direction will be written by Akira Yamazaki, the music director will be Takuya Kusunose, and the choreography and staging will be performed by Yuki Noda (Umebo), and the content will include singing and dancing.
The play “The Quintessential Quintuplets” will be performed at Shinagawa Prince Hotel Stella Ball from Saturday, March 8th to Sunday, March 23rd, 2025.
