“Tamagotchi” and a socks shop collaborate for the first time! A cute limited edition design featuring Mamecchi, Kuchipacchi and Mimicchi♪

It has been decided that the first collaboration between Tamagotchi, a digital mobile-training pet, has been made with sock specialty store and sock shop. Starting April 11th, collaboration-designed socks will be sold simultaneously both domestically and internationally.

“Tamagotchi” was released on November 23, 1996, and caused a huge boom, especially among high school girls. In 2024, they released “Kaerita! Tamagotchi Plus,” which has an infrared communication function. A series with new games and features has been launched worldwide, making it a huge hit product with a total of 94 million units sold worldwide.

It has recently been decided that it will be collaborating with Tabio Co., Ltd., which operates and operates sock specialty stores such as sock shops, Tabio, and TabioMEN. In addition to the official online store, limited-edition items are available at domestic sock stores, as well as at Tabio stores in Europe and Asia.

The “Back tag Tamagotchi Embroidered Socks” features a nostalgic design with Tamagotchi characters embroidered with dot illustrations. There are three colors: off-white x Mamecchi / Dal cream x Kuchipatchi / Saxophone x Mimicchi, and the price is 1,980 yen each.

The “Amerib Tamagotchi Embroidered Crew Socks” is designed with Tamagotchi’s game itself. The adorable finish is the embroidered Maruchi inside the LCD. There are three colors: off-white, rose pink, and chrome yellow, and the price is 1,760 yen each.

The “Big Dot All-Pattern Crew Socks” are designed with a large Mamecchi design. It also incorporates icons such as rice and odours that appear in the game. There are three colors: off-white x black / off-white x blue / black x colorful, and the price is 1,650 yen each.

The “Glitter Print Crew Socks” are glitter socks with the original “TABIOTCHI” logo printed on them to commemorate this collaboration. There are two colors: glitter gray and glitter black, and the price is 1,760 yen each.

The “Amerib Line Logo Embroidered Socks” have a simple design with two lines and a logo. However, Marutchi is embroidered on the fingertips, making it a playful item. There are two colors: off-white x black / grey x black, and the price is 1,760 yen each (all including tax).
