A collection of “Gundam” figures! Also includes Char and Aslan merchandise and Expo figures! Event “GUNDAM FIGURE EXHIBITION” held

The “GUNDAM FIGURE EXHIBITION,” an event that brings together finished figures from the Gundam series, is being held at the “TAMASHII NATIONS STORE TOKYO,” a direct store in Akihabara, Tokyo, from March 27th, 2025. Goods are also being sold using original illustrations.

The Gundam series is a robot anime produced by Sunrise, starting with the first film, Mobile Suit Gundam, which aired in 1979. With realistic depictions of war, which treats robots as “mobile suits,” detailed scientific research, and intricate human dramas, they have established the genre of “real robot anime,” which cannot be discussed in simple terms by simply recommending good and punishing evil, which was the trend in robot anime up until now, causing a huge boom.

Starting January 17th, 2025, the theatrical advance version of the new series, Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuX -Beginning-, will be released. The TV series will begin airing on 30 Nippon TV stations from April 8th.

The Gundam Figure Exhibition, which is currently being held in Akihabara, brings together a large collection of finished figures from the Gundam series from Tama Nations, a unified brand of adult collectors’ products.
Special features will be displayed for various brands, including the “ROBOT Spirit,” “METAL BUILD,” and “METAL ROBOT Spirit” series, and a “Special Book” will be distributed free of charge to visitors.

Photo spots are also available, and the large monitor, which is approximately 5m in length, allows you to enjoy the display of monuments unique to the Tama Nations, where figures, video and light intertwines. Let’s experience that “immersion” at the venue. In addition, there will be a photo spot where you can take photos with characters from Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuX.

Figures can also be purchased, and ROBOT spirit and Chogokin from the “RX-78F00/E Gundam” to be displayed at the “GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION” in Osaka, Kansai Expo will be selling them one after another.

Other limited edition colors, “METAL BUILD Gundam Exia -STORE LIMITED EDITION-” and “ROBOT Spirit RX-78-2 Gundam ver. ANIME ~Earth Color” will be released around April, with a special design created with the environment in mind.

The “Figuarts mini” of “Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuX” by Machu, Nyaan and Shuji will also be on sale from May.

In addition, miscellaneous goods using original illustrations by Amuro, Char, Kamille, Kira, Aslan and Shin are on sale from the date of the event. The lineup includes acrylic stands, trading acrylic key chains and can badges.

In addition, from April 1st to April 7th, a special video production will be held on three-sided monitors in the store to commemorate the birthday of Mobile Suit Gundam 00 character Setsuna F. Seiei. In addition, birthday projects for characters using original illustrations by Tamashii Nations are scheduled to be held in the future.

In conjunction with the event, pre-orders for new products, “METAL BUILD God Gundam & God Gundam 2 (Second)” and “SHFiguarts Lax Klein (Pilotsuit Ver.) Ride-on Reproduction Set” have begun at Premium Bandai’s Tamaki Web Shoten. It has also been decided that “METAL ROBOT Spirit Gundam Barbatos Lupus -STORE LIMITED EDITION-” will be commercialized.
