“Love Live” Chika and the other school idols become “3D digital figures” and become reality!? “Holo Model” is exhibited at “AJ2025”

At the Japan’s largest anime event, AnimeJapan 2025, held on March 22nd and 23rd, 2025, a collaboration exhibition was held between the prototype Light Field Display, which is currently being developed by Sony, and the Gugenka’s digital figure, “Holo Model.” Voice actors Iwa Anju and Aida Rikako also took the stage in Love Live! A special talk live for Sunshine!! is also being held.

Gugenka is an XR creative studio that spreads “characters x XR” to the world. The e-commerce site X-Market is engaged in a variety of XR immersive events, including providing digital products mainly for the digital figure “Holo Model.”

Gugenka will be holding a collaboration exhibition with Sony on the Public Day of “AnimeJapan 2025”. Gugenka’s 3D digital figure “Holo Model” was exhibited through a prototype of the handheld “gaze-recognized light field display” that Sony is currently developing. In addition, they also have a viewing experience using headsets such as the AR smartphone, Meta Quest3 Pro, and the displays seem to be present in the venue, which have been very popular with visitors.

In addition, the booth also sells “Holo Model compatible smartphone stand,” “Holo Model main serial card,” “Expanded animation serial card,” “Holo Model DeLink,” and “Holo Model DeLink Cases.” When we conducted a survey of visitors about the holo model, the exhibition was so popular that 100% of respondents said they wanted a holo model.

And at the White Stage at the AnimeJapan 2025 venue, “Love Live! A special talk live will also be held for Sunshine!!. Iwa Anju, who plays Takami Chika, Aida Rikako, and MC Yoshida Naoki took the stage.
