“Shin Samurai Den YAIBA” will start airing on April 5th! Takayama Minami plays “Blade and Conan” in a dream role!? “YAIBA x Conan” collaboration video unveiled

The TV anime “Shin Samurai Den YAIBA,” based on the original work by Aoyama Gosho, which will be broadcast on the Saturday 17:30 slot on YTV Animation, has been decided to be broadcast from April 5th, 2025. Along with “Detective Conan,” which is airing on the same slot every Saturday from 6pm, the event will be livened up as “Aoyama Gosho Hour.” In addition, a special collaboration video has been released in which Tetsuba and Edogawa Conan dreamed of co-starring.

“Shin Samurai Den YAIBA” is a manga series “YAIBA” that was serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday from 1988 to 1993 by Aoyama Gosho, who worked on Detective Conan and Magic Kaito, and was serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday from 1988 to 1993. It is a completely animated version.
The story begins when Ironba, who is training in the jungle in an attempt to become a true samurai, suddenly returns to Japan and meets his fateful rival, Onimaru Takeshi. This action action drama will bring a blade that seeks even more strength to a straight line with Samurai spirit.

This film has been decided to be broadcast on YTV Animation’s Saturday 5:30pm slot from April 5, 2025. In the “YAIBA x Conan” collaboration video, which was unveiled at the end of the Detective Conan broadcast today, February 8th, Takayama Minami, who plays the main characters of both works, dream collaboration between Tetsuba and Edogawa Conan.
