2.5D singer group “Ireisu” completed their first dome performance! 2days report showing a total of 59 songs
Welcome back to the I Am Anime website
2.5D singer group “Ireisu” will hold their first dome performance “‘The Progress of Dice’ -Memory- / -Future-” for two days on November 30th and December 1st at Belluna Dome. It was held. Over two days, they performed a total of 59 songs, all with different sets, and fans were enthusiastic about the performance, which showed the history of Reisu, which is celebrating its 5th anniversary.
In February of this year, Reis achieved their long-awaited performance at Nippon Budokan, just three years after their formation. Driven by the desire to keep their promise to their fans, they set their next goal as Tokyo Dome. “‘The Progress of Dice’ -Memory- / -Future-” was their first dome performance under such circumstances and was held for 2 days. It was clear that this was going to be an important live for both the members and their fans.
The first day’s set list included many songs from the formation of Reisu to the Budokan live performance, and as the subtitle “Memory” suggests, it was a set list that was like walking down memory lane. On the other hand, the second day was titled “Future” and focused on songs from the Budokan era to recent times, which can be said to be the second chapter of Ireisu. It was a two-day event that everyone, from long-time fans to listeners who only recently discovered Ireisu, could fully enjoy.
On the first day, by the time the performance arrived, the sun had already set, and the light from the penlights was clearly visible. After the opening video, the members appeared wearing long jackets with a white background and black accents.
Ireisu’s opening song, “Koi no Yakusoku”, colors the opening of the live show. From the moment they started singing, the voltage in the venue immediately increased, and in between the perfect choreography, the members gave generous service by making hearts with their hands and blowing kisses. It’s a non-stop stream of “Buchiage!!!!!!” With an extremely bright uptune, -hotoke- loudly calls out, “Let’s fill this best day with the best memories!” In the following “Push, push! Ireisu Ouendan!”, shout out from your heart! When the members took the lead, the voices of the audience joined together and it became the best opening part.
On the second day, the show started an hour earlier, allowing the light to shine outside, creating a refreshing atmosphere for Reisu, who had only performed indoors until now. The six people appear on stage, and you can clearly see them swinging their black cloaks while holding their boards.
After the performance, there were memorial songs such as “Hoshifuru Fairy Tail”, the Budokan live lead song written by Mafumafu, “Promise”, which marked the start of Ireisu’s second chapter, and “Brave”, the first anime tie-up. The way Naiko & If, -hotoke- & Hatsuto, Yusuke & Riura lean on each other’s backs, and the way they all hold out their little fingers during , once again touches my heart.
Here, the first MC will take place. During the self-introduction on the first day, I completely ignored the instruction, “In honor of Memory, introduce yourself while remembering the feelings you had when you first streamed…”. Celebrating Riura’s 22nd birthday, -Hotoke- is impressed once again by the scale of Belluna Dome, and appears to be excited about the auspicious day.
Hatsuto greets, “I’ve been dyeing my hair in a high tone for the past four years, but now I’ve turned my hair black!”, and Naiko says, “Push when you can. Let’s go all out today!” If’s live voice without a microphone echoed throughout the dome, and on the other hand, Yusuke, who had dyed his hair brightly, recreated the batting form of former Seibu Lions player Alex Cabrera, but this did not really get across to the audience. Afterwards, he once again introduced himself and excited the audience.
On the first day, with a sense of confusion, we talked about “It’s just 3 minutes to find your favorite!” and “DEKOBOKO War,” and on the second day, we talked about “The class is collapsing☆ and it’s so hot!” and “There’s something I want to say!!” ” and the members moved to each stage extending in three directions from the center stage. I stood in front of Ireisu (Ireisu’s fans) and exchanged love in a call and response.
Speaking of Ireisu’s live performances, the live-action project video that is played during the intermission is also a popular content. The first day’s “Impromptu Pick Up Battle” was a skit-style improvisational play with a set situation. Naiko, the president of VOISING, asks If, who is also an office worker, “Would you like to work together?” If, on the other hand, counterattacked by saying, “Why don’t you try being at the mercy of me instead of Tusk?” and won brilliantly. There were also battle cards that were sure to make you laugh, such as Yusuke playing the role of the husband vs. Riura playing the role of the wife, set in the living room, and Hatsuto playing the role of the woman -hotoke-VS the role of the man (plus the role of the master), set at a bar.
On the second day, the live-action drama “Nabe no Promise” was shown. It is a story that includes the gameplay of uncovering the wolf hidden within the members, as well as searching for the ingredients of one’s heart, or even the person of one’s heart. In an atmosphere that resembles a love reality show, the members immediately start bargaining. Naikoto Hatsuto fights over the back, and If forcibly seduces him with a rather heavy and selfish -hotoke-, and for some reason, even though they’re supposed to be talking about hotpot, there’s a lot of cheering. This was also a movie with many highlights.
In the solo part, each member changes costume and appears in the order of the dice number. Along with his own songs, he delivered a performance full of individuality. The top batter is Noriura, the youngest member of the team. “It’s not enough, so push me to the limit!” he shouts as he sings “Just keep the faith.” During the dance part, the flickering lights made them look like silhouettes, highlighting Moriura’s majestic performance. In the intro of the second day’s ballad song, “Ichigoku Hoshi,” Riura’s song echoed with emotion over the piano melody amidst the tension as even the slightest breathing was picked up by the microphone.
-hotoke- The solo song “you&U&me” has a pop melody, but the life-sized lyrics make you yearn for the song and make you want to snuggle closer to him. The emotional voice makes the song even more dramatic than the original. On the second day’s “Hyperdimensional Theory →→→”, they effortlessly performed complex choreography while singing, and during the interlude they asked the audience to wave. He gave out everything he wanted to express and had a satisfied look on his face.
The bass-heavy band sound is perfect for Hatsuto, who is in charge of rapping. In “BlanchE NeigE”, her sideways glances and supple feminine dance exude a sensuality and sexiness. The dark worldview remained strong on the second day, dominating the dome with “Xos.” Their loud raps and husky laughter were so exciting that they showed an overwhelming unifying force.
Leader Naiko appeared from the steps above the main stage. He has a combative expression that goes well with the jazzy “Masquerade Dance,” and he expresses the worldview of the song through subtle gestures, such as occasionally hiding his face and flipping the hem of his clothes. During the second day’s “Menhera Hoi Hoi,” which featured a catchy finger dance, listeners were asked to dance as well, and were rewarded with a “Good job!”
By the time If shows up, the dome is already dyed blue. In “One Step at a Time,” which conveys a sincere message, the singer gently pats him on the back, saying, “If you’re tired, it’s okay to take a break. Let’s start walking slowly again.” In “Sky Blue” on the second day, the image of them running at full speed along the flower path and the long, screaming tone at the end of the song were burned into my mind.
Starting with “one step at a time” and connecting it directly, we reach “Inochinouta”. Yusuke, who boasts the best singing ability in the singer world, holds a stand microphone and delivers powerful vocals with a sharp gaze. The winter sky is dyed with such heat that you might think it’s a rock band’s concert. On the second day, he appeared with the encouragement, “You’re not going to get angry!” Part of the chorus was left to the audience, and the song “DIVE!!” was completed together with the listeners.
The event had a unique structure, with songs associated with each season being performed in order after performing songs from past general election campaigns. During the spring songs “Kacho Fugetsu (Day 1)” and “Haru wa Reishi Maie Sakura Fubuki (Day 2),” a trolley carrying the members toured the venue, and the summer songs “Tokimeki☆Love Vacation (Day 1)” and “Yo! Natsu Taisho!” LOVE Ultraviolet (Day 2)” will feature a performance in which she throws a towel around.
Next up is the Japanese-style rock “Tsukihira Fusei (Day 1),” followed by the Halloween-inspired “Jidanda Night (Day 2),” which expresses autumn with a different look. In addition, the seasonal music part ended with the school love song “Koi no Equation (Day 1)” that gently warms the heart in winter, and the illumination song “Luminous (Day 2)” in collaboration with Tobu Zoo.
From here on out, the song order continues, hitting the key points for fans. When it comes to the popular song “Irregular Battle,” cheers go up from the first few notes of the intro. The playful ad-libs interspersed with exciting rap battles are also fun. They are constantly reeling off songs such as the nostalgic jazzy number “Crazy Dice,” which was released three months after their formation, and past tour lead songs “RAID OF DICE” and “DOG BOY.” Each song is filled with memories unique to that song.
For this part, on the second day, a group of thrilling, underground songs were prepared that expanded Reisu’s musical worldview. In “Paparazzi,” Hatsuto, sitting on a chair and wearing sunglasses, gives a fearless greeting, “Dear Antis, I’ve come to Belluna!”
The next song, “Hyakki Yagyo,” was written by Asa, who is known for “Yoshiwara Lament.” The members took turns giving fan service to the camera while parading along the flower path. The camera work in this part was well-calculated, and the chorus with everyone gathered together was extremely powerful and destructive. After increasing the level of madness with “Place to be” written by FAKE TYPE., they performed a mesmerizing staging of “Zerobangai”.
In addition to Riura’s birthday, it was also mentioned that If’s birthday was coming up, and the commemorative photo was also special. After filming on the second day with Hariura and If in the center, I thought the two were whispering to each other, but suddenly… Show him a double kiss. Needless to say, this was met with great applause.
Stand microphones appeared on the stairs above the stage, and when they took their positions, they went to “Repeat”. The energy of the six members, who had previously given intense performances, was overwhelming when they focused solely on singing instead of dancing. In “Memory Crown”, Yusuke, who was in charge of writing the lyrics, said, “We will protect your place forever and ever. As long as we are performing live, this is our place and your place. Just forget about that. Please stay here,” he said.
This section was lined up with songs such as “The World Will Move On” and “Meteorite” on the second day, making for a very positive and reliable composition. “Irregular Quest” and “Beyond the Dreams We Created” each conclude the main story with a sentimental atmosphere. The six members showed no signs of getting tired, and their perfectly coordinated choreography and jumps kept the venue excited until the very end.
For the encore, the members changed into white hoodies and performed in a slightly more relaxed atmosphere than in the main performance. A surprise cake appeared and everyone celebrated Riura’s birthday, and they enjoyed the moment in their own way, holding hands and walking along the flower path during the song. Combined with Hatsuto’s line, “Let’s be together forever,” and the melody of “Irregular Story” and “I Was Born for You,” the enthusiasm for the climax increases.
The encore part on the second and final day is especially emotional. “ACROSS DIMENSIONS” also has famous scenes such as If spreading her arms and receiving cheers, Hatsuto and Yusuke’s double piece, Naiko’s dazzling smile, Riura playfully putting her index finger on her face, -hotoke-‘s cheek heart pose, etc. The list is endless. After that, the members moved each other’s emotions with their actions that conveyed the trusting relationship between the members, such as arming each other’s shoulders and leaning on each other’s backs, as well as songs filled with emotion.
The MC, who didn’t speak at the end, was full of sincerity that is typical of Ireisu. “Everyone, please look around. The sea of penlights is so beautiful. To be honest, it’s not a full house today, and to be honest, I feel frustrated. Our goal is not only to perform at the Tokyo Dome, but also to have a full house. Belluna Dome was a little lacking for us right now. Maybe, but next time, we’ll hold another dome-sized performance with a full house and make it a great success. We’ll never forget this scene, this frustration, and what we experienced today. What we would like to convey to you is our gratitude for showing us such beautiful scenery.”
The singing of “Thank you for your love” that began with that was even more powerful than before. In the outro, Ireisu says “thank you” and leaves the venue. The dream-like two days had finally come to an end…but just as we thought, a video looking back on the performance began to play on stage.
When the movie ended, Ireisu appeared again and performed a surprise performance of her new song “Diamond of Reminiscence.” It was a song that conveyed the message of returning to one’s basics, rejoicing in the miracle of encounters, and heading towards new days. At the end, they waved their hands from the center stage, the leader said their thanks, and everyone took a polite bow. They returned along the flower path, hanging the silver tape they had found around each other’s necks, and left the venue, feeling reluctant to leave anything behind.
On the first and second day, they performed a total of 59 songs, all with different sets. It was a two-day period where you could fully enjoy the four years that Reisu has been running through.
