It has been announced that the TV anime “Friend’s Little Sister is Annoying Only for Me” will be broadcast from October 2025. Along with the announcement, a teaser visual and teaser PV were released. Comments have also arrived from the original author, Mikawa Ghost, and the main cast members, Haruki Ishitani, Sayumi Suzushiro, and Tomori Kusunoki.

“Imo Uza”, also known as “My Friend’s Sister is Annoying Only for Me”, is a youth romantic comedy based on the light novel currently being published by Gosuto Mikawa from GA Bunko. For some reason, his best friend’s younger sister, Ayaka Kohinata, has been hanging out in the house of Meiteru Ohoshi, a high school student who has no need for friendship, doesn’t need a girlfriend, and dismisses everything about his youth as inefficient. Ayaha, who is very popular at school as a neat and honorable student, is extremely annoying to Meisho because of her sudden stop-and-go color scheme when she takes over the bed.

One day, in front of Meisho, who is being swayed by the high-tension, annoying and cute girl, Ayaba, a girl who can handle salt, Mashiro, appears. As a result of this, the daily lives of Meisho, Ayaba, and their friends change drastically. The TV anime, directed by Kazuomi Koga and produced by BLADE, stars Haruki Ishitani as Meiteru Ohoshi, Sayumi Suzushiro as Aya Kohinata, Tomori Kusunoki as Mashiro Tsukinomori, and So Saito as Otoma Kohinata. Kana Hanazawa and the cast from the drama CD version will continue to play the roles of Uma and Sumire Kageishi.

It has been announced that the broadcast will start in October 2025, and a teaser visual and teaser PV have also been released. The teaser visual depicts the annoying and cute heroine, Ayaba, who seems like she’s about to get into trouble. The teaser PV uses a new anime cut and includes the newly recorded voices of Meisho played by Ishitani, Ayaba played by Suzuyo, and Mashiro played by Kusunoki.

Furthermore, to commemorate the release of the teaser visual and teaser PV, a comment has also arrived from the original author Mikawa. Ishitani, Suzuyo, and Kusunoki, who have just recorded their voices for the teaser PV, also posted passionate comments as well as their own “annoying and cute” words.

In addition, the GA label’s distribution event “GA FES 2025” is being archived on ABEMA until 7pm on January 11th. Ever since I got the chance to play the role in the drama CD, I’ve been thinking that it would be great if I could continue playing the role in the anime, so I’m really happy once again. While cherishing the elated feeling I felt when I saw the original work for the first time, I will do my best to make it enjoyable for everyone, including those who have been looking forward to it for a long time and those who have recently become interested in it! !

It had been quite a while since I last performed, so it was difficult to evoke the atmosphere of the work and Ayane’s tension, but I was able to record the dialogue, so it was a lot of fun! Playing Saiha is really high-calorie, so it was also a good warm-up! (lol)

Since this was a PV, there weren’t many lines and I think it was relatively calm, but in the main part, I think we’ll see even more messy and high-tempered Ayaba, so I’m already looking forward to the recording!
