It has been decided that the production of the 4th season of the TV anime “Re:Zero – Starting Life in Another World.” With the announcement, the first teaser visual and special video have been released. Congratulations comments from Kobayashi Yusuke, who plays Natsuki Subaru and Takahashi Rie, who plays Emilia, and congratulations illustrations from the original character designer Otsuka Shinichiro have also arrived.

“Re:Zero – Starting Life in Another World” is a fantasy based on the light novel by Nagatsuki Tappei, which began serialization on the novel submission site “Shousetsu ni Narou” in April 2012, and has been published as a book by MF Bunko J since January 2014. The story depicts Natsuki Subaru, a boy who is suddenly summoned to another world, and uses the power of “Return to Death” that leaves him rewind to time by dying, to confront his harsh fate. The total number of copies of the original series worldwide has exceeded 13 million, including e-books.

The first season of the TV anime will air from April to September 2016. The second season aired the first half of July to September 2020, and the second half of January to March 2021, and two other OVAs were produced. In the 3rd season, the first part, “Attack” was broadcast from October to November 2024, and the second part, “Attack” was broadcast from February to March 2025, with the final episode recently.

The production decision for the 4th season of the TV anime was announced shortly after the final episode of the third season.
To commemorate this, the first teaser visual and special video have been released. The special footage shows a scene of Natsuki Subaru and Emilia spending time in a wind-blown desert area. We look forward to the main story to see what the story will unfold in the future.
