“The Reincarnated Great Saint Hides That He is a Saint” is now available as a TV anime! A commemorative event will also be held at “AJ2025” starring Wakayama Shion and others

It has been revealed that “The Reincarnated Great Saint Hides That He is a Saint” will be made into a TV anime. As a result, a teaser illustration has been released to commemorate the announcement of the anime adaptation by the original illustrator Chibi. The main cast members Wakayama Shion, Tokudome Shinnoyu, Umehara Yuichiro, and Shimazaki Nobunaga (Saki is “Tatsusaki”), and comments have been announced. In addition, an event has been decided to be held to commemorate the decision to make an anime adaptation at AnimeJapan 2025.

“The Reincarnated Great Saint Hiding That He is a Saint” is a fantasy series with a total of over 3.4 million copies sold in the book and novels category of “This Light Novel is Amazing!” for the second consecutive year in 2024 and 2025.
The story begins with Fier, a girl who is said to have no talent for swords, but still seeks to become a knight, recalling how, when she almost dies, her past life was a “great saint” with unconventional cheat abilities. 300 years ago, she fought alongside the knights as a great saint, and was finally killed by the Demon King’s right arm.

Remembering her memories, Fear also revives the power of the “Great Saint” but remembers that in her previous life, the Demon King’s right arm threatened her with “I’ll kill you if I’m reborn as a saint,” and decides to live as a knight while hiding that power. However, Fear cannot be left alone if he sees someone hurt, and frequently uses his strength in the incidents he encounters. Will she be able to continue hiding the fact that she is a saint?

In this TV anime adaptation, Wakayama Shion will be featured as the main cast members, Tokudome Shinnosuke will be playing Fear Rude, Zabilia will be playing Tokudome Yuichiro, Savis Nerve, and Shimazaki Nobunaga will be playing Cyril Sutherland. To commemorate the TV anime adaptation, a newly drawn illustration by the original illustrator Chibi has also been released.

In addition, the main cast and original author Toya, original illustrator Chibi, Aobe Mahito, the manga adaptation, and Umikusu, who also wrote the spin-off manga, also received congratulatory comments and illustrations.

On March 22nd, a special event was also decided to be held at the Hakuhodo DY Music & Pictures booth within AnimeJapan 2025 to commemorate the decision to be made into an anime. Wakayama, Tokuru and Umehara will be appearing at the venue on the day, so it is likely to be interesting to see what kind of talk will be held.
