The TV anime “Detective Conan” will celebrate its 30th anniversary in January 2026. To commemorate this, “30 YEAR PROJECT” has begun. The 30th anniversary logo and movie have been announced.
Detective Conan is based on a manga by Aoyama Gosho currently being serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday. The TV anime began airing on January 8th, 1996. The movie “Detective Conan: One-Eyed Afterimage (Flashback)” is scheduled to be released on April 18th, 2025.
“30 YEAR PROJECT” has just begun, marking the 30th anniversary of the TV anime. As a first step, the 30th anniversary logo and movie were released at the final performance of the Detective Conan Special Concert 2025 on April 13th.
The commemorative logo features Conan with a magnifying glass in the shape of “30”. The footprints around us express our past trajectory and future journeys, and are filled with the message that we will continue to discover the truth together with our fans.
The commemorative movie begins with a smaller scene of Kudo Shinichi (Edogawa Conan), and the more friends appear as the story progresses. There were also scenes of the phrase “Is there any reason why people are trying to kill people? I don’t know what the reason people help people…there are no logical thinking, right?”
In addition, a special website for “30 YEAR PROJECT” has been released. Various projects will be announced in preparation for the 30th anniversary.
