A 2024 version of the Christmas cake with characters printed on it is now available from the TV anime “Yakusha no Hitorigoto”. A total of 7 types of cakes are available for pre-order on the “Preroll” official website, including those featuring individual Maomako and Jinji characters, and designs featuring the two characters lined up together.

“Hitorigoto of the Pharmacist” is a mystery-solving entertainment based on a novel by Natsu Hinata, which is being published by “Hero Bunko” and has also been adapted into comics in “Big Gangan” and “Sunday GX.” Set in the Orient during the Middle Ages, the story depicts Neomako, a girl who plays the role of “poison detector,” solving various difficult cases that occur in the imperial court one after another.

When the first season of the TV anime began broadcasting in October 2023, it became a hot topic, consistently ranking high in the viewing rankings on various distribution platforms, and winning the special award at the “TVer Award 2023.” In the second season, which will be broadcast in two consecutive seasons from January 10, 2025, Mao Mao, a pharmacist’s daughter who has an abnormal obsession with poison and medicine, and Jinshi, a mysterious and beautiful eunuch, will be involved in more events that occur in the imperial court. Tackle difficult cases.

The Christmas cakes released by “Preroll” are available in a total of 7 different designs. Each character is designed on top of a cake filled with plenty of sweet and sour strawberries.
