Onari is a tomboyish girl who lives a free-spirited life in a world of gods and monsters that appear in Japanese folk tales. He admires legendary heroes and trains hard to become a new hero, but his father, Narudon, is a strange god and won’t teach him anything. As the threat of ONI, feared by mountain gods since ancient times, approaches, Onari must face the truth about herself that she does not know yet.

●What is animation studio “Tonko House”?

An animation studio co-founded in Berkeley, California in July 2014 by Daisuke Tsutsumi and Robert Kondo, who were art directors at Pixar, after co-directing the short film “Dam Keeper” in 2014.

The Dam Keeper was nominated for the 87th Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film in 2015, won 25 other awards, and was screened at 75 film festivals around the world.
