The official “Fist of the North Star” free channel, which broadcasts the anime “Fist of the North Star” series for free every day, will open for a limited time on the new future TV “ABEMA” from December 20, 2024. All 152 episodes of the TV anime series “Fist of the North Star” to the movie version “The Legend of the True Savior: Fist of the North Star: Raoh’s Legend: Chapter of Martyred Love” and “The Legend of the True Savior: Fist of the North Star: Raoh’s Legend: Fierce Battle Chapter” are broadcast nonstop every day.
“Fist of the North Star” is a hard-boiled action manga based on the manga by Tetsuo Hara and based on the original work by Buronson, serialized in “Weekly Shonen Jump” from 1983 to 1988. It takes place at the end of the century, when the world is dominated by violence. The story depicts Kenshiro, the successor of Hokuto Shinken, growing up as a savior, burdened with love and sadness.
The TV anime has been aired for a total of 152 episodes over two series since October 1984, and includes many famous quotes, spectacular action scenes that use various martial arts techniques, and characters such as Raoh, the eldest of the four Hokuto brothers and Kenshiro’s nemesis. The charming characters quickly became popular. It created a huge boom that could be described as a social phenomenon, with a theatrical version and a side story featuring the supporting characters being created, and it remains popular even today, 40 years after it began broadcasting.
The official free channel for “Fist of the North Star”, which will be newly opened on “ABEMA”, will feature all 152 episodes of the TV anime “Fist of the North Star” and “Fist of the North Star 2”, as well as depicting the story of Han people who lived at the end of the century.
