Introducing the forest-colored boots “Snufkin Traveler’s Boots,” which represent the admiration for Snufkin from “Moomin.” It is on sale at the “I・E・I Original Shop”.

“Moomin” was created by Tove Jansson, a writer, painter, and artist. The story of Moomintroll and his friends begins with the novel “The Little Troll and the Big Flood” published in 1945 and has been translated and published in more than 50 countries. Goods, spots, animations, etc. based on the original novels, comics, and picture books are loved not only by people in their home country of Finland, but also by people in many countries including Japan.

Snufkin from “Moomin” is a freedom-loving traveler character. Everyone admires their way of life, spending the warm seasons in Moominvalley and leaving for the south when the residents go into hibernation. The new “Snufkin Traveler’s Boots” are leather boots that will give you the feeling of being a free traveler, just like Snufkin. The image of Snufkin walking through the forest is superimposed on the deep green hue.

The raw-cut design and sturdy stitching make use of the natural texture of the leather, giving it a slightly outdoorsy feel. It’s made from a single piece of raw leather that makes use of soft leather, and there’s no lining, so it’s very light. Finished with a water-repellent and antibacterial finish, they fit comfortably like socks according to the shape of your feet, and can be used in three seasons from fall to spring. It comes with a side zipper so you can put it on quickly, so you can go out whenever you feel like it.
