“Mobile Fighter G Gundam” “My jacket burns bright red!!” Domon’s costume appears in MA-1! ALPHA collaboration

The brand “STRICT-G”, which develops the world view of the “Mobile Suit Gundam” series, is collaborating with the military brand “ALPHA INDUSTRIES”. The “MA-1 Flight Jacket” commemorating the 30th anniversary of “Mobile Fighter G Gundam” has started accepting reservations on Bandai Namco Group’s official mail order site “Premium Bandai”. General sales will begin from December 26, 2024.
“Mobile Fighter G Gundam” began broadcasting on April 22, 1994. The story takes place in the Gundam Fight, where Gundams representing colony nations engage in fierce battles once every four years in order to win control of Earth to their own countries.
The story depicts Domon Kash, who participated in the 13th Gundam Fight as a representative of Neo Japan, deepening bonds of friendship and trust as he clashes with formidable rivals, and confronts the enemy of humanity, Devil Gundam. Although it is part of the Gundam series, it is set in a world other than the Universal Century, and is the forerunner of the Alternative Series.
From this work, the MA-1 flight jacket of the “STRICT-G” model of the main character Domon Gash is now available. This apparel is a collaboration with Alpha Industries, a military brand established in 1959.
The coloring is based on Domon’s costume in the play. The emblem patch on the front and right sleeve creates a worldview and is a special collaboration product that also has military elements.
Made of high-quality sheepskin leather, it has a soft texture. The patch is monotone to match the fabric color, and the dog tag with the “Mobile Fighter G Gundam” 30th anniversary logo and the ALPHA INDUSTRIES brand name attached along with the ribbon is a special specification only for this model.
This jacket incorporates details unique to ALPHA, such as the wing on the inside of the zipper that increases heat retention and the cigarette pocket on the sleeve. It has a clean silhouette that is easy to wear as a fashion item, and can be worn anywhere.
Domon also appears in a newly drawn illustration limited to this collaboration. Each jacket purchased comes with an acrylic stand featuring a newly drawn illustration.
