Synopsis

Motunui is a southern paradise surrounded by beautiful coral reefs. There was a legend on that island. “The demigod Maui steals the heart of Te Fiti, the goddess of life, and darkness is born. But one day, someone will appear who will travel beyond the reef, and before the darkness covers everything, the island will be destroyed. He will save people.”
Moana (Yabiku China), who has developed a special bond with the sea and is loved by the sea due to a certain experience she had when she was young, has a growing desire to jump out into the ocean. , her father, Tui (Momu Anzaki), strictly forbids Moana from going out into the dangerous sea.

One day, the coconut trees on the island contracted a disease and they could no longer catch fish.
Moana’s Grandma Tara (Mari Natsuki) pushes her to follow her heart, says goodbye to her mother, and sets off into the ocean. With the help of the sea, they arrive at the island where the legendary hero Maui (Matsuya Onoe) lives.
