Synopsis

Maverick (Tom Cruise) is an excellent pilot but never promoted and works as a test pilot for the Navy.
One day, he is called back to the U.S. Navy’s elite pilot training school, “Top Gun,” where he also studied.
There, waiting for Maverick were 12 elite pilots who were Top Gun graduates. Among them was Bradley “Rooster” Bradshaw, the son of his partner Nick “Goose” Bradshaw, who was killed in a training accident 30 years earlier.
Maverick was entrusted with training them to carry out a “top secret order” that was so difficult that it seemed impossible to carry out.

Strict training begins immediately, but the young pilots have difficulty achieving their goals, and some begin to doubt that the mission is impossible.
Feeling that Rooster’s resentment toward Maverick has reached his limit, Maverick heads to his former rival Iceman (Val Kilmer), who recommended him.
Iceman is happy to be reunited with Maverick and advises him to get over his past with Goose. However, after that, Iceman was infected with a disease and lost his life, and Maverick was fired as an instructor just before the mission was about to be carried out…!

Characters

Pete “Maverick” Mitchell (Tom Cruise)

A former Top Gun graduate and legendary pilot with genius flight techniques, he continues to refuse promotions due to his commitment to the field. He is known for his unconventional flying style, sometimes going against military regulations.
His flying technique, which does not deteriorate even with age, is first-class. He is ordered to become a Top Gun instructor in order to fulfill a “top secret directive.”

Bradley “Rooster” Bradshaw (Miles Teller)
