The latest title of the “Pierro Magical Girl Series,” including “The Magic Angel Creamy Mami,” has been decided to be “The Magic Sister Lulut Lily,” and it has been announced that the TV anime will begin airing in 2026. Along with this, the “memorial photo visual” styled toys from all works in the series, along with the characters from this film, are revealed. He will also exhibit at AnimeJapan 2025.
The “Piero Magical Girl Series” is a Magical Girl series produced by Studio Pierro (now Pierro), which is still supported by many fans both in Japan and abroad, even now that it marks its 40th anniversary.
In addition to “Creamy Mami, the Magic Angel, which aired from 1983 to 1984, “Magical Fairy Persia” from 1984 to 1985, “Magical Star Magical Emi” from 1985 to 1986, “Magical Idol Pastel Yumi” from 1986, and “Magical Stage Fancy Lala” from 1998 on TV.
The latest installment in this historic series is the recently announced “The Magic Sister Lulut Lily.” TV broadcasts will begin in 2026.
In addition, the “Memorial Photo Visual” was created to commemorate the release of this information, and is a photo that packs the toys from all the works of the “Pierro Magical Girl Series” together with memories of the series. This photo visual was created with the styling of popular prop stylist Endo Ayumu.
The first time the appearance of Uguisu and Anko, a character from the Magical Land that appears in this work, will be revealed in this first place. Both are cat-like creatures from the land of magic, and Uguisu always has a free-spirited personality that complains and expresses true feelings. On the other hand, Azuki has a gentle personality, but when she is in trouble she sometimes gets through it by showing off her natural cuteness.
Uguisu & Anko will appear at the anime event “AnimeJapan 2025” to be held at Tokyo Big Sight on March 22nd and 23rd, 2025. A costume greeting will be held at the Bandai Namco Group booth and Pierro booth on both days.
