From “Macross Frontier the Movie: Itsuwari no Utahime”, the main character Aruto Saotome’s aircraft “VF-25F” appears in Tamashii Nations’ brand “DX Chogokin”. “DX Chogokin VF-25F Tornado Messiah Valkyrie (Alto Saotome Custom) Revival Ver.” is now available for pre-order at Premium Bandai.
“Macross Frontier” is a TV anime that aired in 2008 as a commemorative work for the 25th anniversary of the “Macross” series, which celebrated its 40th anniversary since its start. “Macross Frontier the Movie: Itsuwari no Utahime” was released in 2009.
Set on the 25th new Macross-class immigrant fleet “Macross Frontier” where the mysterious extraterrestrial life form “Vajra” approaches, pilot Alto Saotome, top singer Sheryl Nome, also known as the “Galaxy Fairy”, and a girl who aspires to become a singer… It depicts a love triangle between Ranka Lee and flashy mechanical action involving the variable fighter “Valkyrie.”
“DX Chogokin VF-25F Tornado Messiah Valkyrie (Alto Saotome Custom) Revival Ver.” is an action figure of the “VF-25F” driven by Alto Saotome, the main character of this work.
“Super Alloy” is a toy series that uses die-casting. This brand, which has been around since 1974, not only reproduces the appearance using composite materials including die-casting, but also features gimmicks that match the characters, such as firing, combining, and deforming.
As the name “Tornado Messiah Valkyrie” suggests, this product is a revival three-dimensional version of the VF-25F equipped with the tornado parts that were used in “Macross Frontier the Movie: Itsuwari no Utahime”.
Tornado parts consist of twin engine pods, rotating twin beam cannons, etc. A matte finish is applied along with the main body, giving it a beautiful improved texture.
