To commemorate the release of the movie “Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle-“, new merchandise such as “Clear File” and “Chara Badge Collection” have been released. Some Animate stores and Animate mail order will hold a fair to celebrate the opening.

“Hypnosis Mic” is a music-based character rap project launched in September 2017. A total of 18 unique main characters will be divided into six teams: “Ikebukuro Division,” “Yokohama Division,” “Shibuya Division,” “Shinjuku Division,” “Osaka Division,” and “Nagoya Division,” and “The Prestige of Man.” It depicts the story of a passionate rap battle.

The first film, “Hypnosis Mic – Division Rap Battle,” to be released on February 21st, is Japan’s first interactive audience-participation film, in which “the winners and losses of a rap battle unfolds on screen are decided by the votes of the audience in the cinema.” It is attracting attention.

To commemorate the release of the film, Animate will release new merchandise, including “Clear Files” (18 types in total), “Arranged Ribbons” (6 types in total), and “Luggage Tags” (6 types in total).

Additionally, as part of the “Release Commemoration Fair in Animate,” you can purchase related character goods and make reservations for 1,100 yen (tax included) during the period from February 21st to March 23rd, or book, CD, Blu-ray, or For each item you will receive a bonus “Backstage Pass Style Card” (18 types in total/random) for purchase and reservation of a DVD (required for deposit of 1,100 yen (tax included) or more).

In addition, some stores will be posting key visual posters and division posters, as well as setting up stand-alone support message boards. It will liven up the film “Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle-“.
