Synopsis

A prince is born to Mufasa (Shinya Owada), the king of the Pride Lands, a kingdom of animals in the African savannah. A prince named Simba (Toshiki Kumagai) lives a carefree life, dreaming of the day he becomes king.
Meanwhile, Mufasa’s younger brother Scar (Yosuke Eguchi), who is aiming for the throne, dislikes his nephew Simba. One day, Simba falls for Scar’s plan and gets caught up in a stampede of wildebeest.
Mufasa goes to the canyon to save his son, but is killed by Scar’s betrayal. Simba is forced to believe that his father’s death is his fault, and is banished from the Pride Lands by Scar.

Despair and broken, Simba is on the verge of exhaustion in the desert, but is rescued by Pumbaa the warthog (Jiro Sato) and Timon the meerkat (Ase).
Simba, who becomes friends with the two, somehow recovers and has fun with his new friends, gradually awakening to himself.
One day, a young lioness appears before Simba (Kento Kaku), who has grown strong. It was his childhood friend Nara (Yoko Kadoyama).
Nala begs Simba to restore the Pride Lands, which was devastated by Scar, to its once peaceful kingdom, but Simba is unable to forgive himself for letting his father die.
