Here, we will introduce the synopsis and cast of the work.
Summary of work
The anime “Osomatsu-san” is based on the gag manga “Osomatsu-kun” by Fujio Akatsuka, and depicts the protagonist sextuplets who have become useless adults who are trash and NEETs. When the first season of the TV anime was broadcast from October 2015, it became a huge hit and became a social phenomenon, including being nominated for the 2016 Buzzword Award. Since then, the movie version of “Osomatsu-san” was released in 2019, and it has also been adapted into a 2.5-dimensional stage, showing a wide range of developments.
The live-action movie “Osomatsu-san” was released on March 25, 2022, as part of a project to commemorate the 6th anniversary of the anime “Osomatsu-san” in 2021. Under the direction of Tsutomu Eiji, who has worked on many live-action adaptations of manga works such as “Tokyo Revengers” and “Heroine Disqualification,” the Johnny’s idol group “Snow Man” starred in the film, which attracted a lot of attention.
Synopsis
The Matsuno family’s sextuplets, Osomatsu, Karamatsu, Choromatsu, Ichimatsu, Jyushimatsu, and Todomatsu, are scumbags and virgins, Kusonito, who have not found regular jobs even after the age of 20, and who chew on their parents’ shins. Although they struggle with each other, they live together under the same roof.
One day, Osomatsu, the eldest son, meets an old gentleman (the CEO of Apricots, a large company with a market capitalization of tens of trillions of yen!). A far-fetched story unfolds in which he wants to adopt Osomatsu, who looks exactly like the son he lost in an accident. Five younger brothers who can’t afford to run away. A battle of flesh and blood breaks out between the two, who want to be adopted and push others aside.
In front of them, three people dressed in black who look like they are extremely important appear, and the story progresses in an unexpected direction. Who will be chosen as an adopted child and lead a successful life?
