ZIPPO by the norimono goods brand “CAMSHOP.JP” has been released from the manga “Initial D” with a laser-precise reproduction of the famous scenes of the protagonist Fujiwara Takumi. This limited edition 150 pieces and comes with a special serial number, and online pre-orders will begin at 8:00 p.m. on April 16th, 2025.
Initial D is a motorsports manga by Shigeno Shuichi, serialized in Young Magazine. The story follows the story of the main character, Fujiwara Takumi, fighting against numerous driving vehicles along with his beloved car called “Hachiroku”, and aiming to become “the fastest on public roads.”
When the TV anime began airing in April 1998, the heated car racing scene captured the hearts of many young people and car fans, and became a huge hit, with five series being developed and film adaptations.
This time, “Initial D” ZIPPO” is a laser-expressed scene of the main character, Fujiwara Takumi. The scene was decorated with a famous scene that could be said to be “a moment that trembled the hearts of readers as Takumi stepped beyond Hachiroku’s limits and overcame the difficult enemy Sudo Kyoichi’s Lancer Evolution and scored the victory. The finish is delicate and luxurious, which cannot be expressed in print.
