“Laughter in the middle of the night” “This anime is too luxurious”… “The Villainess Reincarnated Uncle” Inoue Kazuhiko sings passionately “Galaxy Express 999″…!! “No, Kenzaburo, I can’t hide my surprise”
Welcome back to the I Am Anime website
In episode 9 of the TV anime “The Villainess Reincarnated Uncle,” which aired from 24:26 on March 6, 2025, “Galaxy Express 999,” sung by the main character of this work, Grace Kenzaburo (CV: Inoue Kazuhiko, CV: M・A・O), was performed as an insert song. Viewers were surprised and laughing, and social media has attracted a lot of excitement, with comments such as, “What? Galaxy Express 999……?????” and “Not only Matsuken II, but Galaxy Express 999…this anime is too luxurious.”

“The Villainess Reincarnated Uncle” is a heartwarming comedy brought to you by Kamiyama Michiro, based on a manga currently being serialized in Monthly Young King Hours GH. It is a heartwarming comedy about “uncle x reincarnation in another world x villainess.” The story begins with Tondenbayashi Kenzaburo, a serious 52-year-old civil servant, being involved in a traffic accident and being reincarnated into the world of the otome game Magical Academy Love & Beast.
Kenzaburo becomes Grace Auverne, the villainous lady who gets in the way of the protagonist of the game’s love path, and as with Grace, he decides to stand out as a villainous lady, and struggles with the same efforts as Grace. However, the parent-minded statements that envelop the characters around them from their own experience points, combined with the ability to automatically convert common people’s words and actions into something elegant,[Elegant Cheat]which will dramatically increase your own evaluation. Furthermore, the game unintentionally raises flags of handsome guys who are targeting it for the game…and so the story unfolds.

Then, in episode 9, “Uncle, I’m Trapped,” which began airing on the 28 MBS/TBS stations “Super Animism TURBO” slot from 24:26 on March 6th, “Galaxy Express 999,” known as the theme song for the anime “Galaxy Express 999,” will be the insert song. Of course, the two singers are Inoue Kazuhiko, the voice actor who plays Tondenbayashi Kenzaburo, and M.A.O., the role of Grace Auverne.

Just as Grace was pounding the drums, he suddenly burst into shock on social media, saying things like, “What? Galaxy Express 999……?????” “No, seriously, are you singing it?! LOL,” “Inoue-san sings lol,” “What are you doing!?!?” “I burst into laughter in the middle of the night…”
Also, many viewers were gradually thrilled by Inoue Kazuhiko’s singing ability, with comments such as, “It’s really funny that Kenzaburo’s visual and Inoue’s beautiful voice don’t match,” “I’m an otaku who has been running through Showa and Reiwa. Thank you,” and “My voice is always too young…”

Grace Kenzaburo also covered “Matsuken Samba II” as the ending theme for the film during its first broadcast, attracting a lot of attention. This time, the flow will continue, with comments of joy, such as, “What a masterpiece after Matsuken II is…” and “Not just Matsuken II, but Galaxy Express 999…this anime is too luxurious.”
Regarding this singing, Inoue Kazuhiko received a comment, and on his X (formerly Twitter), he also posted, “It’s such an amazing world. No, Kenzaburo, I can’t hide my surprise.” It seems that Inoue himself loves this song, and the content conveys the joy of it is a must-see.
After the broadcast, the original author, Kamiyama Michiro, portrayed his X as “A man who cosplays as a traveler,” and Grace Kenzaburo, who cosplayed as a character, in Galaxy Express 999, which is too familiar to him. On the cover, he also reported his joyous feelings, saying, “I never thought I would be able to listen to this song that Inoue Kazuhiko covers! I want to praise my past self!”
Additionally, YouTube’s MBS Anime & Drama Channel is currently releasing anime footage with insert songs. Streaming has already begun on various music services, so if you haven’t heard the beautiful voice yet, or if you’ve lost your memory from shock while watching the anime, try playing the famous songs sung by Grace Kenzaburo over and over again.
The TV anime “The Villainess Reincarnated Uncle” is currently airing every Thursday from 11:26 on the 28 MBS/TBS stations, “Super Animism TURBO.”
Tondenbayashi Kenzaburo: Inoue Kazuhiko
It reminded me of “Galaxy Express 999,” which I was appearing on when I was just before my debut.
I was excited to see the song playing from the big screen in the cinema for the movie version of “Galaxy Express 999 THE GALAXY EXPRESS 999.” It’s an honor to be able to sing that song. I’m glad that Kenzaburo loved this song. It was really good.
