“Ikara-san Pass” will start today, April 24th! Japan Animation announces additional lineup of free YouTube streaming

Nippon Animation Theatre, the official YouTube channel operated by Nippon Animation, is currently streaming selected animation works for free to commemorate the company’s 50th anniversary. Two new additions have been announced: “Hikara-san Pass” and “His Majesty’s Petit Ange.”

“Haikara-san Toru,” based on the manga of the same name by Yamato Kazuki, will be streamed from 8:00 p.m. on April 24th, 2025. Set in Japan during the Taisho period, the story depicts the highly-colored and curious heroine Hanamura Benio struggling with love and work. Its romance and growth-filled story continues to captivate many fans even more than 45 years after its broadcast.

The release of “Her Majesty the Queen’s Petit Ange,” an original work by Japan Animation, will start at 8pm on May 30th. The story follows Petit Ange, a young girl detective who has successfully discovered the lost gem and has become known as a slightly 12-year-old genius girl, set in 19th century London, and tells the story of solving a strange case.

“Ikara-san Passing” will be available for free on the official YouTube channel “Japan Animation Theater” operated by Nippon Animation from 8pm on April 24th, and “Her Majesty’s Petit Aniger” will start streaming for free from 8pm on May 30th.
