“Gundam” G Armor is going with “45th anniversary specification”! Introducing the largest volume of “ROBOT Spirits” that also accommodates RX-78-2

To commemorate the 45th anniversary of the “Mobile Suit Gundam” series and the event “TAMASHII NATION 2024,” the movable figure “ROBOT Spirits G Armor ver. ANIME ~Gundam 45th Anniversary~” has been released. It will only be sold by lottery, and applications are currently being accepted at Premium Bandai until 11:00 p.m. on November 25, 2024.

The “Gundam” series has been produced by Sunrise for over 45 years since “Mobile Suit Gundam” was broadcast in 1979. The realistic portrayal of war, which treats robots as “weapons” called “mobile suits,” detailed scientific research, and the intricately woven deep human drama, go beyond the simple interpretation of good and punishment that had been the trend in robot anime up until then. Established the genre “Real Robot Anime”. It caused a huge boom.

Additionally, the latest installment of the series “Mobile Suit Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance” will be available exclusively on Netflix starting October 17, 2024. It is an original anime with 6 episodes, each 30 minutes long, that focuses on the European front during the One Year War, which is the setting of the first Gundam series, Mobile Suit Gundam.

To commemorate the 45th anniversary of the “Gundam” series in 2024, a special version of the heavy fighter “G Armor” is now available in Tamashii Nations’ action figure brand “ROBOT Spirits”.
It has a luxurious specification in conjunction with the event “TAMASHII NATION 2024” where the latest figures will be exhibited.

ROBOT Spirits is a brand of robot figures for the high target audience created by the heart that loves robots, the “robot spirit.” It is a brand that creates many three-dimensional robots with an overwhelming degree of perfection.
And the “ver. ANIME” mentioned in the product name is the definitive model of a robot figure that reproduces dynamic anime-like proportions and is a “playable recreation of the movie” with the spirit of ROBOT.

“ROBOT Spirits G Armor ver. ANIME ~Gundam 45th Anniversary~” includes the mobile suit “RX-78-2 Gundam ver. ANIME”, as well as all effect parts and replaceable weapon parts.

In addition to the pilot’s cut-in plate and diorama booklet, the set also includes a special pedestal that allows you to display each form as a set, and a stand for separate display.

“ROBOT Spirits G Armor ver. ANIME ~Gundam 45th Anniversary~” will be sold in a lottery format at the online shopping site Premium Bandai. Applications are currently being accepted until 11pm on November 25th, and winners will be announced in late November.
The price is 22,000 yen (tax included), and shipping is scheduled for April 2025.
