We’ve picked out the super unrivaled school life of another world Demon King, “Last Boss Girl Akari”![Review of “Jump TOON” featured works / Vol. 1][PR]

The TV series for the spring anime “Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuX” began airing on 30 Nippon TV stations at 24:29 on April 8th. The film was co-produced by Studio Color and Sunrise, directed by Tsurumaki Kazuya, and was a story that was constantly talked about since its release.
In 2025, ahead of the TV series, the theatrical advance version of “Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuX -Beginning-” has been released in 373 theaters nationwide, with some episodes reconstructed, ahead of the TV series. The 81-minute screening time was released by director Tsurumaki Kazuya, who worked on the “Evangelion” series, and was a Gundam experience that was a mixture of newness and nostalgia.
This story tells the story of Amate Yuzuriha, a high school girl who lives peacefully in a space colony, and after meeting a young girl Nyaan, she gets caught up in an illegal mobile suit duel competition called “Clan Battle.” Amate calls himself his entry name Machu and decides to ride Zeke Axe and throw himself into the days of fierce battles.
*Due to the nature of this theme, the following text contains descriptions that touch on “spoilers” for those who have not seen the film. Please be careful when reading.
Before the broadcast, character designer Take posted an illustration of Amate. The TV series is finally beginning. Fans watching the advance film “-Beginning-” have been confused on social media, saying things like, “What, does this start here?” From the beginning, Sharia Bull, the man who has come back from Jupiter, who has been a hot topic with “-Beginning-,” and the Red Gundam appear.
The title of the first episode is “Red Gundam.” That’s a title you’ve heard somewhere before… From there, the encounter between high school girl Amate Yuzuriha and the girl Nyaan is depicted, while the secret strategy by Sharia Bull and others is depicted in a well-paced composition.
The rapid developments were also raised on social media, and some people were worried about the story, saying, “It’s too fast for people who are watching for the first time, so can you keep up?” and “I wonder if people who haven’t seen the movie can understand this?” When NOMELON NOLEMON’s “Midnight Reflection,” an insert song that was also played in the theatrical advance version, was used in the film, and was filled with joy, saying, “I’m so happy!”
After the commercial is interrupted, Amate and the others are caught up in a secret operational battle. “Wouldn’t you fight?” Amate, wondering, “We’ll defeat them!”, started running and found Siegax…
As Yonezu Kenshi’s theme song “Plazma” plays, Amate faces the enemy. The speedy flow of episodes was a flash of comments on social media such as “a little bit of a surge in” and “I wonder if it’ll be all set in episode 12?”, which was a flash of comments.
Hoshimachi Suisei, who sings the ending theme “I don’t care what happens now,” also posted, “It was just five minutes to experience.”
The ending, which was first released on TV, captured the daily lives of Amate and Nyaan, and fans were excited, with the ending, “cute ending,” “stylish footage,” and “yuri!” It’s so cute. The uncredit video has also been released soon.
The illustrations and directions for the ED animation will be performed by Yatabe Toruko. After the broadcast, she posts cute GIF animations as well.
Kurosawa Tomoyo, who plays Amate, wrote her thoughts, “The ending was also amazing,” and Ishikawa Yui, who plays Nyaan, wrote her thoughts, “Machu and Nyaan in the ending were so cute!!!”
And then there’s a preview for episode 2. The title is “White Gundam.” The preview shows the “Red Comet” Char Aznable… “Is that the broadcast in that order?” “I was surprised that they were going to start a beginner,” “Is that the structure going to be?,” “Are you tribute to Black Gundam?” Many voices of surprise were heard on social media.
Which is it, red or white? Come to think of it, the title of the first episode of Mobile Suit Z Gundam, which aired in 1985 was “Black Gundam.”
Following the TV broadcast, many fans apparently were able to watch the second round immediately on Prime Video, the fastest stream in Japan. I’m looking forward to what’s going on in the future!
Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuX will be broadcast on 30 Nippon TV stations every Tuesday from 11:29pm. It will air every Saturday from 7pm on BS11 (first episode changed from 9pm). It will be streamed every Wednesday from 1am (right after the TV broadcast ends) on Prime Video, and will be streamed every Friday from 10pm on all streaming sites. ABEMA and Lemino will be releasing free streaming with ads every Sunday from 10pm.
