“The Princess Knight is a Barbarian Wife” will be aired in the fall of 2015! Voice actors including Suzushiro Sayumi, who plays the “Damn Kill” female knight, announced and comments arrived

It has been announced that the TV anime “Princess Knight is a Barbarian Wife” will be broadcast from autumn 2025. The first key visual and first anime footage have been released. It has also been decided that the main cast will be Suzushiro Sayumi as Serafina, Inomata Keishi as Veol, Hishikawa Kana as Tsetsi, and Toyosaki Aio as Marcias, and comments have arrived.

“The Princess Knight is a Barbarian Wife” is a manga by Kotobanoriaki, currently being serialized in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine. Volume 8 is on sale, with the latest volume 9 coming out on April 9th. This is a full-scale story of marriage in another world, woven by a former enemy, such as a princess knight vs. a barbarian king.

The story takes place hundreds of years after the Ildren Kingdom in the west began to conquer barbarians in the East. Serafina de Lavirant, the “Princess Knight”, known as the strongest of the kingdom, is defeated by barbarians during the fierce conquest of the East and is taken prisoner. “…Damn, kill me!” What awaits the defeated female knight’s days of humiliation…but rather, her marriage to the barbarian king Veol.
Despite being enthusiastically proposed, Serafina refuses with her strong will. However, the story of a different world marriage is woven, with contacts with other cultures, new encounters, and Veol’s true face bringing a change in Serafina’s heart.

The TV anime for this work has finally been decided to be broadcast from fall 2025. The first key visual, which was also released, depicts the romantic scenes of former enemies, the “Princess Knight” Serafina, and the “Barbarian King” Veol, illuminated by the moonlit night.

In the PV where the first anime footage will be released, four voice actors who will be the main cast were announced. First, Suzushiro Sayumi will play the role of Serafina, the youngest daughter of the Lavirant Margrave of the Ildren Kingdom, and the leader of the First Knights of the Eastern Conquest Army, known as the “Crystal Helmet.”

Inomata Keishi is the eldest son of the tribal chief who unites areas known as “barbarians” in the west, and plays the role of a rude Veol, who has the nickname “Thunder Scream.”

Hishikawa Kana plays the role of Tsetzi, the caretaker of Serafina, who was served by Veol’s side. Toyosaki Aio will play the role of Marcius, a military priest of the Calendar, who has longed for his long-cherished desire to conquer the East and who puts the sacrificing Serafina as the sacred leader. Comments have been received from each cast member.

When I first read the original work, I was first drawn to the cover, saying, “What is the situation?!” I wonder how Sera, who has lived her life for her homeland, ends up having met Veol! From the urgent atmosphere to the comical scenes, you can’t take your eyes off of many different perspectives, and before you know it, you’ll be captivated.

I will play the role of Veol. This is Inomata Keishi! I didn’t often play large, extremely strong characters, so I was very happy when it was decided.
The original manga is a full-fledged fantasy work that features a variety of races and monsters besides humans and barbarians, so while valuing the worldview of the work, I will do my best to play the Veol, who is worthy of Serra!

Marcius, who I will play, is a priest in the conquering army and a passionate believer of Serafina.
I think this character is attractive because of the difference between his crazyness due to love and his pure and serious side.
I would like to perform the role of her infatuation with Serafina in a bizarre and charming way.
With the same world view as the original, the Princess Knight begins to move in an animation, and is depicted in a more dynamic way, so please enjoy the barbarian wife!
