Google Play says “Google Play Best of 2024We announced the winning works.Best game award“Gakuen Idolmaster (hereinafter referred to as Gakumasu)‘ has been selected.
“Google Play Best of 2024” is an annual announcement that selects Google Play content that gained popularity in Japan in 2024 from among the best apps, best games, and grand prizes in each category.
The Best Game Award went to “Gakumas”, the first completely new game in the “THE IDOLM@STER” series in six years. It features impressive camera work and lighting that enhance the sense of realism, as well as impressive live scenes that unfold with carefully selected 3D models.
Furthermore, the deep story that unfolds between aspiring idols who are not only full of charm but also have great worries is also fascinating, and the award introduction page says, “Sometimes they clash violently and struggle, but they bravely run up to the stage of their dreams.” It resonated with the fans of the series and captured the hearts of many users as well.”
