My first encounter with Takarazuka was at “The Rose of Versailles.” I was captivated by the story and visited the Palace of Versailles every time I went to Paris. I think the charm of The Rose of Versailles is that it depicts life, love, and suffering not only based on historical facts, but also by spotlighting individual characters who lived in that era. I am very honored to have been able to participate in the narration. This story, which combines historical fact and fiction, is a loving work that will remain for future generations. I hope you will see it as many times as you like.
