The first original anime from David production produced by JoJo! “Yon-Yang Kaiten Re:Birth” is a story about a yin-yang battle between another world and a yankee, broadcast in the summer of 2025

It has been announced that “Yin-Yang Kaiten Re:Birth,” a story about a battle action action in the other world by Yankee, a Yankee who runs a space-time attack series, will be aired in the summer of 2025, as the first original TV anime based on David Production of the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure series and “Fire Force.” Kimura Taihi will be the Yankee protagonist, Uchida Maaya will be the heroine, and Kimura Ryohei will play the strongest onmyoji, Abe Seimei.

“Yin-Yang Kaiten Re:Birth” is David Production’s first original TV anime, originally designed and directed by Takahashi Hideya (Taka is Hagodaka), who worked on “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind” and “Urusei Yatsura.” The series will be composed by Mori Hayashi from “SAND LAND: THE SERIES” and “Cells at Work Black”, character designs will be Morita Kazuaki from “Welcome to the Classroom of the Elite” and “Assassination Classroom”, and music will be composed by Tokuda Masahiro from the drama “Silent” and the film “Last Mile.” In addition to these staff, this is a major project in which light novel writer Sato Akuto will be involved in the plot draft, and science fiction writer Shibata Katsuie will be involved in the worldview setting research.

Furthermore, the main cast members have also been revealed. The characters, including Kimura Taihi, who plays the main character Takeru, also known as Takeru, as well as Uchida Maaya, who plays Tsukimiya, and Kimura Ryohei, who plays Abe Seimei, each plays characters who hold an important key to the story.

The story takes place in Denji Heiankyo, where technology has evolved to a high degree. The teaser visual shows the protagonist Takeru, a yankee high school student, as a boy meets girl trying to grab the hand of the fallen heroine Tsukimiya. Also, behind the two, Abe Seimei, the strongest onmyoji in Dengi Heiankyo, is giving a meaningful look.

The first PV, which will be unveiled for the first time in the anime footage, also shows Takeru being reincarnated in another world, as well as Takeru’s passionate bloodline, as if he were to say, “I’ll be serious about it no matter where I’m in another world or where,” as well as the monsters attacking him and Takeru facing it. More news will be watched to see what kind of battle action will unfold.

We also received information about the characters of the three characters who will become the central figures of the story. The main character, Takeru, has wandered into another world from the present day, is a passionate yankee whose trademark is Sukajan and Rezento. Tsukimiya, the heroine who is popular as an idol as a Noh dancer at Dengi Heiankyo, wears a gorgeous outfit wearing a stage costume. Abe Seimei, the strongest onmyoji who is famous in Denghi Heiankyo, shows a contrasting appearance with a neutral face and long hair, as he is passionate about Takeru. I’m curious to see how they will interact with Takeru, who suddenly appears in Dengi Heiankyo.

Additionally, passionate comments have been received from the main cast and staff who play the three characters. It is sending passionate messages to fans and viewers in preparation for the broadcast of a completely new “Yankee x Another World” battle action film.

The first original TV anime “Yin-Yang Kaiten Re:Birth,” by david production of the “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” series and “Fire Force,” will be aired in July 2025. It is undoubtedly this is the longest-consuming anime I have ever worked on, and it took me the longest time to plot and write the script. To communicate stories and settings that may become complicated in an easy-to-understand way. I think that was the mission that was assigned to me, the scriptwriter.
