Welcome back to the I Am Anime website
“Nintama Rantaro: The Strongest Strike of the Dokutaka Ninja Team” is currently on sale. On February 16th, 2025, a cheer screening was held as a post-release event entitled “The Nintama Movie “The Strongest” Cheering Battle.” Takayama Minami (as Rantaro), Ichiryusai Sadatomo (as Shinbee), Okiayu Ryutaro (as Zenhoji Isaku), and Suzuki Chihiro (as Shokuman Ruzaburo) took the stage to give a stage greeting.

With box office revenue of 2.4 billion yen and audiences exceeding 1.6 million, this film continues to break the record-breaking hit of “Nintama.” In this “Nintama Movie “Most Strongest” Cheering Battle,” Takayama, Sadatomo, Okiayu and Suzuki were greeted with applause and cheers from the packed venue. Takayama appeared happily, saying, “That’s a great excitement,” and there was also a scene where he was surprised by the fans’ handmade cheering merchandise.
It has been two months since the film was released. When asked about what made me happy and memorable episodes, Takayama said, “I thought ‘Nintama’ wasn’t just about laughing. I heard the most about how it made me cry.” Speaking about the story, Okiayu said, “People who had been watching “Nintama” once reacted to things like, “It’s been a while since I saw a movie, that’s what we talked about!”, and juniors also responded to “Emo?” “I’ve been told, “I’ve been told.”
Suzuki apparently re-watched the film three days ago, saying, “I watched it with my coworkers, and everyone was really excited, wondering, ‘Are you really ninja?’ He said he was glad to see him as a member of the film.”
It was also the first time that a first-year and sixth-year cast members have appeared together in this film, so when asked about an episode where they felt a bond across grades, Okiayu said, “It’s the work that is chaired by Minami Takayama. Minami-san is also aware of all the lines other than herself. If there are people who don’t understand or have any doubts, they will come. I think that many people are really helping out.” He revealed his side as Takayama’s chair.

Furthermore, in response to the cheer screening event, when asked, “What kind of cheer do you want us to incorporate?”, Okiayu said about the scene between Tenki and sixth graders, “There’s a scene where Isaku asks, ‘What do you do?’ so I said ‘Do your best’ I want it.” Suzuki said, “I would like you to make the right time when Shoman apologizes, saying, ‘I’m sorry’,” and in fact he replied at the venue, praised him, “It’s perfect.”
Sadatomo said about Shinbee, “When I hear the line that “there are few places where you can eat (this wall)” I would like you to say, “That’s right,” “The sixth graders will sniff, you’re also in a physical state. It’s moving, isn’t it? I think everyone is the same,’ he said, citing a point of empathy that can only be felt in this powerful work.
As the conversation began to get excited, applause erupted from the audience when it was announced that an experiential exhibition of this work would be held at Tokyo Dome City Gallery AaMo in August.
At the end of the event, Suzuki said, “Your support and cheers will be our strength. We look forward to your continued support. We’re still a challenge!” and Okiayu said, “We also received lots of support from the movie version. The TV series will continue, so please look forward to it!” he said.
Sadatomo said, “Your warm support is the source of our energy. We look forward to your continued support!” and Takayama said, “Thanks to everyone’s support, I’ll be standing on stage again and looking at your faces. We were able to do this. Your support is encouraging us. The 33 series has also begun recording, so we will do our best to deliver energy, both in the TV series and the movie version. Thank you. “Here we are!” he greeted. The call and response was held in full energy, and the event ended in a huge success.
