A collaboration event between Sakura Momoko’s “COJI-COJI” and Isetan Shinjuku store (Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo), “COJI-COJI at Isetan Everyone is Useful,” will be held from April 9th. This is the second collaboration project, following 2024.
COJI-COJI is a manga written by Sakura Momoko, known for “Chibi Maruko-chan.” The main character, Koji Koji, lives freely and freely in a fairy tale country with his unique friends, and is a mysterious space life form that is hard to tell whether they are gender or age. The fantasy and hilarious nonsense jokes make the work a fascinating attraction. The anime has been aired since 1997, and a total of 101 episodes have been produced, with a unique storyline.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the broadcast, YouTube channel “[Official]Kojikoji Channel」It has launched the program and distributes content such as the main anime, new short movies, and event information.
Koji Koji will be coming to the Isetan Shinjuku store again this year. In this collaboration event, “COJI-COJI at Isetan Everyone is useful,” we focused on the scene in the original story where Kojikoji says, “Everyone is useful, Kojikoji has never been useful.”
He created a newly drawn illustration of Kojikoji and his friends from the fairy tale country wearing denim clothes that they have become attached to over time, spending their time freely in beautiful nature. This illustration contains the message, “We are all naturally in the interest of someone else.”
This time, we will be collaborating with Mitsukoshi Isetan’s “thinkgood campaign.” The company will focus on items that value the global environment and are based on traditional culture and technology that they want to pass on to the next generation, and will develop approximately 20 new items.
The lineup includes items exclusive to Isetan Shinjuku store, including “Aoyama Decabo Koji Koji Cookie Cans and Pouch Set,” “Baron Koji Koji Set of 3 Bath Salt Packs,” “Penon Art Magnet,” and “Tamao World Pouch.”
In addition, new collaboration items include “Ships T-shirt,” “Classics Small Luxury Handkerchief,” and “Lab Name Kojikoji Name Tag.” There are lots of items that express the world of Koji Koji.
From April 9th to April 15th, if you meet the conditions, you can also get exclusive novelties in stores or online stores. In addition, on April 9th, the first day of the event, a pre-ticket system will be used to alleviate crowds (ticket application period has already ended).
