It has been announced that the TV anime “Funeral Freeren” will be broadcast for free on the new future TV “ABEMA”. A total of 28 episodes of the first season will be broadcast for two weeks from November 20, 2024. You can also watch it for free for one week after it airs.
“Funeral Freelen” is a manga by Yamada Kaneto (author) and Abe Tsukasa (illustrator) that is being serialized in “Weekly Shonen Sunday”. Set in a world “after” the Demon King was defeated by the Hero and his party, the story depicts the journey of Freelen, a wizard who has lived for more than a thousand years, who defeated the Demon King with the Hero, and the new people she meets.
It has won many readers with its stories woven by characters that unfold in an innovative chronological order “after the defeat of the Demon King,” with heart-rending drama and dialogue, battles with magic and swords, and humor that will make you laugh. The cumulative number of copies of the comics currently on sale has exceeded 22 million, creating a sensation among manga fans.
The TV anime based on it was broadcast on TV until March 22, 2024, starting with the first special on “Friday Road Show” on September 29, 2023. For half a year, this work attracted a wide range of viewers, not just anime fans, and received a great response. Currently, production of the second season of the TV anime has been decided.
All 28 episodes of the first season of the TV anime “Funeral Freeren”, which is about to enter its second season, will be broadcast for free on “ABEMA”. It will be broadcast for two weeks starting November 20th.
Episodes 1 to 14 will be broadcast on the first week, November 20th from 21:30 to 4:00 the next morning, and on the 21st from 6:30 to 13:00 and 2:30 to 21:00.
After the broadcast, you can watch it for free anytime until 3:59 on November 27th.
In the second week, episodes 15 to 28 will be broadcast on November 27th from 21:30 to 4:00 the next morning, and on the 28th from 6:30 to 13:00 and 2:30 to 21:00. This free viewing period ends at 3:59 on December 4th.
