It has been decided that all of the TV anime “The Apothecary’s Monologue” will be available for free. It will start streaming on ABEMA from April 26th, 2025. You can watch all 40 episodes so far.
“The Apothecary’s Monologue” is based on a novel published by Hinata Natsu in “Hero Bunko.” The series has also been adapted into comics for “Big Gangan” and “Sunday GX”, with the total number of copies published in the series exceeding 40 million.
The story is set in the harem. This story tells the story of Nekoneko, a girl who has been chosen to play the role of Dokumi, and uses her knowledge of poison and medicine to solve difficult cases that occur at the Imperial Court. The TV anime will begin airing in October 2023. The second season will be airing in two consecutive seasons starting in January 2025.
“The Apothecary’s Monologue” is an anime based on the novel of the same name by Hinata Natsu. Set in the harem, Nekoneko, a girl who became the “poisonous” character in a pharmacist, uses her knowledge of poison and medicine to solve various difficult cases that occur in the imperial court one after another.
It has also been adapted into comics in two monthly magazines, “Big Gangan” (Square Enix) and “Sunday GX” (Shogakukan), and the total number of copies of the series has exceeded 40 million. The TV anime was broadcast for two consecutive seasons from October 2023, and its mystery drama by the rare poison-loving girl Nekoneko, as well as a comical exchange between Nekoneko and the handsome eunuch Miyoshi, has gained popularity, and has also reached number one in the X trends.
Since January 2025, the second season has been airing in two consecutive seasons, showing even more excitement.
This work has now been decided to be streamed all at once. First, all 24 episodes of the first season will be broadcast for two consecutive weeks, on Saturday, April 26th, Sunday, May 3rd, and Sunday, May 4th. In addition, the latest episodes 16 of the second season (episodes 25 to 40) will be broadcast for free on Tuesday, April 29th and Wednesday, April 30th.
You can watch it for free for one week after the broadcast ends. From 9:30pm on April 29th to 9:30pm on May 6th, you can enjoy all 40 episodes for free, from seasons 1 to 2. It was a great opportunity for those who missed the broadcast to catch up with the latest episode.
