From “Sword Art Online Alternative Gun Gale Online”, two types of Ren figures based on illustrations drawn by original illustrator Kohaku Kuroboshi are now available. The 1/7 scale figures “Ren original version dress ver.” and “Ren original version swimsuit ver.” are now available for pre-order on KADOKAWA’s mail order site “Kadost” and other sites.
“SAO” or “Sword Art Online” is a blockbuster novel series published by “Dengeki Bunko” by author Reki Kawahara and illustrator Abec. Since its release in 2009, it has developed a media mix such as comics, animation, and games, and has continued to attract many fans as a monumental presence in science fiction fantasy.
“Sword Art Online Alternative Gun Gale Online” is a spin-off work set in the next-generation VRMMO “Gun Gale Online” where Kirito and Sinon met in the second season of the “SAO” TV anime. This is a gun action work based on “SAO” created by writer Keiichi Shigurezawa and character designer Kouhaku Kuroboshi.
Currently, the TV anime “Sword Art Online Alternative Gun Gale Online II” is being broadcast from October 2024, and to commemorate this, the illustration drawn by the original illustrator Kohaku Kuroboshi has been made into a three-dimensional figure.
“Len” in a dress and a swimsuit has been turned into a figure with her slender legs and arms in a dazzling pose. If you look closely, you can see that their expressions are different.
The dress version has a unique silhouette with plenty of volume. Also, the lovely body line wrapped in the dress is beautifully sculpted. The bare skin visible from the back is irresistible.
Also, since the swimsuit version is a highly revealing outfit, you can clearly see Ren’s beautiful legs and upper arms.
The thin girlish lines are healthy and truly beautiful. Another big difference is that she is barefoot, unlike the dress version.
The original illustration has been transformed into a three-dimensional version, creating an even more adorable new look for Ren. This figure allows you to enjoy a slightly more mature Ren than usual.
The 1/7 scale figure of Ren from “Sword Art Online Alternative Gun Gale Online” is priced at 17,600 yen (tax included) for the dress version and 16,500 yen (tax included) for the swimsuit version. Shipping is scheduled for October 2025.
There will also be set sales where you can purchase both products together. If you purchase the set, you will receive a mini colored paper (approximately 126mm x 111mm) with the original illustration by Kohaku Kuroboshi and the replica autographs of Keiichi Shigurezawa and Kohaku Kuroboshi.
The price of the set is 33,000 yen (tax included). Reservations for both single items and sets are available until January 29, 2025 on online shopping sites such as “Kadost” and “CharaAni.com.”
