To celebrate the 45th anniversary of Mobile Suit Gundam, a collaboration with Onkyo’s wireless earphones, the CP-TWS01E, has been decided. The “CP-TWS01E GUNDAM” with newly recorded voices will be ordered and sold at the online shopping site ONKYO DIRECT and the Akihabara store ONKYO DIRECT ANIME STORE (OtoAni 1st store).

The collaboration model “CP-TWS01E GUNDAM” comes in two types: Amuro Ray, the Earth Federation Forces, and Char Aznable, the Principality of Zeon. The top of the charging case features the Amuro model, the Earth Federation Forces and Char, but it also features an image of the Principality of Zeon. Icons symbolizing each character are placed on the left and right housings.

The audio guidance is equipped with newly recorded voices from Furuya Toru, who plays Amuro and Ikeda Shuichi, who plays Char. You can enjoy a total of 13 words of voice, such as power on and off, when pairing, and tapping sounds.
For example, in the Amuro model, when pairing fails, he shows off a famous line from the story, saying, “Even though my father never hit me.” When pairing is successful, we also prepared an arrangement of famous lines, saying, “I’m the best way to pair earphones with the best.”

Actual equipment is currently being exhibited at the Akihabara store, ONKYO DIRECT ANIME STORE. After checking the sound quality and voice, you can accept orders using the dedicated QR code installed in-store. The price is 20,000 yen each (tax and shipping included). Products are scheduled to be shipped from mid- to late August 2025.

In addition, original designs of “earphone pouches” and “wireless chargers” will also be available at ONKYO DIRECT and OtoAni 1st store. The “earphone pouch” costs 1,500 yen (tax included, shipping not included), and the “wireless charger” costs 4,400 yen (tax and shipping included).
