“Cat and Dragon” will be made into an anime on “Cat Day”! A heartwarming and sad story between a cat, a dragon, and a human♪ Celebratory illustrations released!

It has been revealed that the novel “Cat and Dragon” will be made into a TV anime on February 22nd, “Cat Day.” Along with this, commemorative illustrations and a special report PV have been released. We also received comments and illustrations from the original authors.

“Cat and Dragon” is a fantasy work by Amara, the original novel and comic book published by Takarajimasha, the character design by Okuma Mai, and the manga by Sasaki Izumi. It depicts the story of the mysterious bonds woven by dragons, cats, and humans raised by cats, and is popular for its warm and sad content.

The original work also attracted attention for being ranked number one on “Shousetsu ni Narou” a day-to-day ranking, an unusual short story. To date, volumes 7 of the hardcover, 3 of the paperbacks, and 10 of the comics are now on sale. It has also been announced that “Cat and Dragon: Dragon’s Matchmaking and Flying Cat” (paperback version), which will be released on March 5th, will surpass 1 million copies sold (including novels, comics, and digital versions).

This work will be made into a TV anime on February 22nd, “Cat Day.” Comments have been received from the original author Amara and the character design of Okuma Mai, and from the manga Izumi Sasaki, in addition to comments, they have received congratulatory illustrations.

To commemorate this, a newly drawn illustration by the original character designer Okuma Mai, featuring characters such as Cat Dragon, has been released. The visuals are finished so that you can feel the warm atmosphere of this work.

At the same time, a special PV for the anime adaptation has also been released. The footage uses a wealth of manga illustrations and packs a variety of scenes.
At the end, it also includes a newly recorded voice of Cat Dragon. However, the voice actor who will play Nekoryu has not been revealed at this time, so there is no doubt that expectations will rise even more for further news about the anime in the future.

A new official website and official X (formerly Twitter) have been opened in conjunction with the announcement of the TV anime “Cat and Dragon.” Manga Box and other e-book stores are also implementing measures to read the original work for free, so take this opportunity to check out “Cat and Dragon” in novels and comics.
