A new series of stuffed animals by Takara Tomy Arts, “Character Bakery “Nui Pan,” designed with the motif of “bread” will be released. As the first in the series, all 22 types of “Disney & Pixar characters” will be released on February 15, 2025.
Character Bakery “Nui Pan”, also known as “Nui Pan,” is a series project launched by Takara Tomy Arts with the idea of “What kind of wonderful bread can you make with your favorite characters as motifs?” “Bread stuffed toys” are made by designing various characters as bread and turning them into stuffed animals.The design pursues the realism of bread, and the use of multiple materials to reproduce different textures creates a variety of products that are particular about appearance and feel. It is characterized by the following points.
In the first installment of the series, popular Disney characters and Pixar characters will appear as breads and sweets.
The lineup consists of two lines, “Stuffed Animal S” and “Chain Strap Mascot,” each with 8 types from “Disney Characters” and 3 types from “Pixar Characters,” totaling 22 types of 11 characters.
For the Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Pooh breads, we paid special attention to recreating the texture of the oven-baked breads. By changing the color of the ears and nose to create an unevenly baked texture, and by using chewy fabric, we aim to create a finish that resembles real bread that makes you want to pick it up.
The Pooh and Piglet sandwiches have burnt marks on the bread. By using multiple different fabrics for the ingredients between the sandwiches, the look and feel of the ingredients was recreated.
“Lozzo” and “Alien” from “Toy Story” have muffin motifs, and the ears resemble cookies with cream sandwiched between them. The cookie and cream parts are layered with different felt fabrics to achieve a realistic look and hardness. In addition, the muffin cups are made of cloth molded into a cup shape.
In addition to stuffed animals, miscellaneous goods featuring original illustrations of “Nui Pan” will also be available. You can enjoy the world of “Nui Pan” together with the 3 lines: “Original can badge,” “Set of 3 stickers,” and “3 acrylic key chain.”
