A 1/1 scale figure of the Turbo Old Maneki Neko from the TV anime “Dandadan” has been released. Reservations are being accepted at AmiAmi, a major hobby mail-order company.
“Dandadan” is an occult battle and youth story based on the manga by Ryuyuki Nobu, which is currently being serialized in Shueisha’s manga magazine app Shonen Jump+.
Momo, a high school girl born into a family of spiritual mediums, and her classmate Ocarun, an occult enthusiast, are challenged by the hidden power and curse power gained after encountering an overwhelming strangeness that transcends understanding, and are caught up in a fateful love.
The first season of the TV anime will be broadcast in October 2024. It has also been decided that the second season will be broadcast from July 2025.
The modern youkai Turbo Old Cat (Menki Neko), who appears in the TV anime “Dandadan,” has been making a figure on 1/1 scale from Furyu’s high-quality hobby brand “F:NEX.”
It’s as if the maneki cat in the story had just come out into reality. This figure is attractive for its overwhelming presence on the 1/1 scale and its round shape.
