“Shin Samurai Den YAIBA” blade and “Detective Conan” Conan exchange costumes! “Aoyama Gosho Hour” collaboration bridge revealed

The TV anime “Shin Samurai Den YAIBA” began airing on April 5th, 2025, and YTV Animation held one hour of “Aoyama Gosho Hour” from 5:30pm on Saturdays, along with the currently airing Detective Conan. Along with this, a bridge using a collaboration visual between Blade and Conan, drawn by Aoyama, has been released.

“Shin Samurai Den: YAIBA” is a complete anime adaptation of the manga “YAIBA,” which Aoyama Gosho, who has produced numerous hit works such as Detective Conan, Magic Kaito, and No. 4, was serialized in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday from issue 39 of 1988 to issue 50 of 1993.
This action drama depicts Kurogane Yaiba, a wild samurai who is practicing in the jungle, returns to Japan after a sudden turn of events and advances straight to the samurai spirit in search of even greater strength in a new training ground.

With the start of this film’s broadcast, YTV Animation has made it possible for the “Aoyama Gosho Hour,” which combines Detective Conan, a work based on the original work by Aoyama Gosho. Along with this, a bridge using a collaboration visual depicting Aoyama’s original illustration of Conan exchanging costumes was released. This is a dream collaboration between Blade and Conan, popular characters representing Aoyama’s works.

In addition, the collaboration promotion, which became a hot topic for the duo of “Blade x Conan”, “Sayaka x Ran”, “Onimaru x Kogoro”, and “Kagetora x Chiba Detective”, were also released together with the version that was currently aired, following the version before the broadcast. The TV anime “Shin Samurai Den YAIBA” is currently airing on Yomiuri TV and Nippon Television nationwide from 5:30pm on Saturday evenings. The TV anime “Detective Conan” will be airing at 6pm in the same slot, and will be one hour for “Aoyama Gosho Hour.”
