“Detective Conan” Conan train in Tottori Prefecture has been renewed! The Yonago side has Haibara and Akai, and the Tottori side has black organizational characters designed.

A new design of the Detective Conan Train, which operates in Tottori Prefecture, has been released. From March 17th, operation will begin between Tottori Station and Yonago Station on the Sanin Main Line.
The Detective Conan train, which features characters from Detective Conan on the entire vehicle, began operating mainly on the Sanin Main Line in 2012.
Currently, the “Blue Red Vehicle” (from 2019) depicting Edogawa Conan, Kaito Kid, Kudo Shinichi, and Mouri Ran, and the “Detective Vehicle” (from 2021) depicting the detectives and the juvenile detectives that appear in the work are operating in one two-car formation.
The “Blue Red Vehicle” has recently been renewed. The new design features two vehicles each with different themes. The Yonago side is titled “White Vehicles” and features Edogawa Conan, Haibara Ai, Akai Shuichi, and Kudo Shinichi. This vehicle was depicted with many of Conan’s friends.
On the other hand, the Tottori side is a “black vehicle.” The theme was a black organization that was in conflict with Conan, with members of the organization all gathered together, including gin, vodka, and vermouth.
The interior of the toilet entrance is marked with illustrations of Conan and the black organization. The pictograms for the bathroom are modeled after Kudo Shinichi and Mouri Ran, making this a special vehicle that will appeal to fans in the smallest detail.
To commemorate the operation of the new vehicles, a departure ceremony was held at Yura Station on March 16th, the day before the service began. Tottori Prefecture Governor Hirai Shinji, the Sanin branch president of West Japan Railway Company, and Teshima Toshiki, the mayor of Kitaei Town, will be present. The “Blue Red Vehicle” is scheduled to end operation on March 4th.
