“Chiikawa” and American stainless steel bottle maker “Klean Kanteen” are collaborating. The “Insulate Bottle,” a thermal and cold insulating bottle designed with each character, is available for pre-order at the online store “Hikidashi Store” until January 30, 2025.
“Chiikawa” is a manga created by illustrator Nagano and created by X (formerly Twitter). The story depicts the fun, heartrending, and slightly hard days of Chiikawa, who always works hard, and his friends Hachiware, Usagi, and other unique characters.
There is a wide range of development including goods, collaboration cafes, and corporate collaborations, and Kodansha has released 7 volumes of the book “Chiikawa: Something Small and Cute”. In addition, a TV anime has been broadcast on Fuji TV’s Mezamashi TV since April 2022.
This product is a collaboration with Klean Kanteen, a stainless steel bottle manufacturer in California, USA. Insulated Bottle TKWide 12oz, a thermal and cold bottle designed with Chikawa character art, is now available in five lineups.
It features the unique peace signs of Chikawa, Hachiware, Usagi, Momonga, and Kurimanju.
The main body color is a matte and calm coloring that is inspired by each character. Colorful stainless steel bottles are available in colors ranging from white to blue, yellow, black, and green.
On the other side, there are speech bubbles with lines such as Chikawa’s “Fu!” and Usagi’s “Huh?”, as well as the faces of each character.
The lid uses a highly airtight “cafe cap”. It is leak-proof and comes with a stainless steel loop handle for convenient portability.
It can be used in a variety of situations, such as as a coffee/tea mug in the office, as a bottle for outdoor use such as camping or watching sports, or as a portable tumbler.
The five types of “Klean Kanteen Chikawa Insulated Bottle TKWide 12oz” are priced at 6,820 yen each (tax included). Reservations are being accepted at the online store “Hikidashi Store” until January 30, 2025.
